I have had one of the most unprofessional experiences with this company. Their entire team is extremely rude, and could care less about their customers. My wedding unfortunately got postponed due to Covid 19, and so I called Marianne's Rentals to ask them about their procedures and protocols for Covid during this hard time. After speaking with their sales rep, she assured me that there was no issue and that they could just push out my date within a year. I explained to her we had not yet quite figured out the new date, and she assured me that was fine and she would place my account on "hold" until I knew. Several weeks later, I was able to secure a date and replied to one of the sales reps emails to me previously, to let her know the new date. The day of my original wedding date, I got a text saying the rentals were ready to pick up. I promptly called and said I had unfortunately already postponed and I was sorry they did all that work, but I had spoken with the sales rep previously and she had put a "hold" on my account. I was told that I had emailed an incorrect email with our new date, and so I was liable for the entire cost of the rentals and could sign a new contract and pay the cost again. I was not okay with this, as I had been told my account was on hold for my original date. So whether or not the new date had been received, the rentals should have never been pulled. I tried to call and get in touch with the company, and my calls were never answered or returned. From that day on, I would only receive short and rude emails. When asking to speak with the sales reps supervisor, I was given the name of their rental manager, and I tried to call her. I got an email from her saying again it was my fault and she would offer me half of the rental cost returned (I would still lose over $600 dollars) She was short, rude and did not wait for me to answer what I would like do, either return the money or credit it towards a new contract. I said I wanted to talk with the manager before I made a decision. Instead of letting me speak with her superior, she just refunded half the money. Without my permission, as I did not consent to this, I would have rather credited it. The problem was that I was not okay with losing over $600 dollars for their mistake, but instead of letting me speak with the manager and then make a decision, she ignored me and was extremely rude. She then told me I could call a specific number to reach her supervisor. I called, and two weeks later I still had not heard back. So I contacted the lady again asking what I should do and how I thought it was really unprofessional two weeks had gone by and I had not received any communication back. She gave me her supervisors email instead and told me she was not responsible for her boss returning my communication. Again, rude. Finally I emailed her supervisor explaining the situation, that none of this was my fault as I had been told my account was on hold, and with Covid 19 I was already very tight on money and could not afford to lose over $600. She told me that they did not have to even refund half, and so I could basically deal with it or find someone else. I am extremely saddened by their heartless nature, especially during this difficult time. They are rude, extremely unprofessional and I definitely would not recommend this company at all to be responsible for such a big part of one of the most important days of your life. I normally don't review places, but I could not let other brides get into the same thing I was put through.

I ordered tables and chairs to arrive on the day of the wedding. I did not take possession of the items or I would have refused them. Did not look anything like the pictures on the web site. They were so worn out there were NO tops left on the tables. And the chairs were so filthy I spent 90 min. Cleaning them !!! Need to ask questions !! , and demand items that look like the website pics I used thin white plastic with vintage lace over these tables but the horrible condition of the tables could not be hid

I had a great experience here. Haley was incredibly helpful setting up our rental and it was not very expensive. The other thing I really liked was that the young men in the back had a 'can do' attitude when they were loading up our items. They were able to get everything into my small suv with ease. Marianne's customer service and product line is outstanding! Hayley was knowledgeable and easy to work with. Most communication was via email and changes and additions were no problem as we got closer to the engagement party for my son and his fiancée. Need more space for guests? Look no further, Marianne's should be your go-to place! We rented tables and chairs for them several years ago and they were great. With more guests than ever before, we needed more space for Thanksgiving, so we researched our options, and found once again, Marianne's was the best quality and price in town. We picked Our tables and chairs up the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and returned them Friday. Best deal! The only reason they are getting 4/5 instead of full 5 is we had a set size we had reserved, and had our decor and table cloths planned out. When we went to pick our tables up, someone had rented our tables to a bigger venue. This was a little frustrating, but the manager went right into action to fix the issue. We were very appreciative of her help! But again, this was not the size we were planning for, so we had to scramble to figure out a new tablecloth. When returning the tables, we found out that if you rent tables and tablecloths for Thanksgiving, the tablecloths are 50% off, so definitely something to keep in mind for the future!

Overall the rental process was good. We worked through our event planner and invoices were sent back and forth to fit what we wanted within our budget. I appreciated that professionalism. The one complaint I have is the table linens were all wrinkled. For as much as I paid just to rent them, they should have be pressed and arrived on hangers - not folded in boxes. Once the decor was placed on the tables, it helped not to notice it as much. But honestly, a bride's parents are dropping a ton of money on a wedding and the table linens absolutely should be ironed.

I host events twice a year, very large festivals. I rented some cooling fans for the summer one. One of the cooling fans smelt like rotten fish. The company told me they were busy and couldn't tell me when they would be able to review my complaint after calling twice. When they finally did they said the cooling fan was completely fine and wouldn't process any sort of refund. I'm sorry but the fan was absolutely unusable and the fact that they treat their customers like this is ridiculous. There is something to the customer is always right. Do better. Hope they can provide better equipment and customer service to people in the future!

It's really unfortunate that Oklahoma City does not have more options for rentals. This is by far one of the worst experiences and worst customer service I've ever had in the hospitality industry. They had to reschedule my appointment three times because they had double booked my time with a consultant, and I even showed up multiple times to their show room, and they kept changing my appointment without notifying me in advance, finally we had an appointment. It was very simple what we were needing and it took three weeks to get a quote and it wasn't until I emailed the owner that we still did not have a quote or a bid or a deposit down and I needed to make that to secure the items we wanted to rent for the day. They came out and installed everything the day prior and did not bring everything that we had ordered and chose not to tell us again in advance. We didn't find out. We were missing coolers until they had delivered everything and unloaded it from the truck then I'm calling the store to find out why we were missing coolers from our order and they just said oh sorry They do not communicate and this caused a huge issue and ended up costing us money because we had to go out and buy coolers out of pocket versus renting them for a much cheaper price. Then, as you can see in the pictures provided, they absolutely destroyed my lawn with their trucks. They had no respect to stay on the concrete, and they decided to just drive directly on the grass and ruin it, they didn't even apologize and it took them over four weeks to refund us the money for the items that were never delivered.

We had a GREAT experience with Mariannes! I was a parent that was helping decorate our high school's junior/senior prom. We had a big space and needed help transforming our commons area into a "starry night to remember". We worked with Haley at Mariannes and able to get everything ordered and reserved for our date without any problem! On the day of decorating, the Mariannes delivery/set up crew was right on time and very professional. They installed all of our rentals beyond our expectations! We will definitely use Mariannes next year as well!
