Maple Garden Restaurant

All the food is great, everything has the right amount of sauce. Service is fast and orders are accurate, some of the best Chinese food in the Tulsa Metro.

We still absolutely love Maple Garden!This is fast, easy on the budget, filling Chinese food!We always order ahead for takeout and our orders are always hot, ready, and complete.We have enjoyed all the items we have ordered including Hawaiian chicken, beef broccoli, sweet and sour pork, and egg drop soup to name a few favorites.While most are the typical Chinese food fair, you can tell they make it fresh and do not leave it sitting around waiting!Very friendly family who is always kind and attentive.

Here is a great little Chinese-American spot that I wish were nearer to me in OKC. Mind you, it's not authentic Chinese but I enjoy this style as well. Flavors are great, food hot and cooked to order, portions are large, and they have very fair prices. Crab rangoon are made fresh. A plate of sugar biscuits is a must have (just like the buffets!). Walnut shrimp is excellent, at least to me since I'm big on the sauce, and their's is sugar sweet perfection. Shrimp look huge, and while they are bigger, they are also heavy on the breading. Breading not one bit greasy or falling off, texture a little grainy but not too bad. Sesame chicken is also super good, sauce delicious, less breaded than I'm used to but more tender.I enjoy the warm, old school atmosphere here, complete with contemporary Chinese music (I'm guessing) playing overhead. Workers here are very friendly and helpful. They are very proud of their restaurant. Dining room is clean, and so is the women's restroom. Yet the locals only seem to do takeout here. So they place the chairs up early at night, which makes them look closed. Since moving to OKC, I miss old dine-in Chinese places like this. When in Shawnee, I'm definitely heading here again.

As far as taste is objective and a matter of personal preference I can overlook the fact that I think Malle Garden is probably the worst Chinese place in Shawnee when it comes to food quality and taste. However I can't overlook a Chinese restaurant forgetting the rice for my takeout order. I have tried Maple Garden twice since I have lived here. The first time I got food poisoning and the second they forgot two orders of rice. I will not be back.

Had dinner from this place last night, pretty good Chinese I had the general chicken with brown rice. Rice was good chicken was okay it had a fishy taste to it though and that was kinda nasty. But in all I guess it wasn't to bad. I'd probably go back but I'd order the peppered chicken instead.

Came thru Shawnee from OKC, was looking for the local good spots. Read reviews on this place, gave it a shot.. got there right before closing, guy owner was kool, and ordered the quart of chicken lo-mein. Was just under 5 bucks to-go and it was a solid amount of noodles. I'd say it wasn't the BEST ever but yeah was pretty good. Would say 6 out of 10.... seems like a fast, cheap Chinese place, but if that's what your into, then hit up maple..!

Service was ok. Food not good at all. My suggestion would be to use dark meat for sweet and sour chicken since it won't be nearly as dry. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place if you are looking for decent Americanized Chinese food. There is bound to be a better place for it around here somewhere.

Always great, service is amazing ! I have never been disappointed. Try the hot and sour soup! Family owned and well run.

Avoid this place at all cost loved the place when I was younger but as of covid NO WAY!!! Had to eat off of paper plates and red solo cups and little to no Choices.

When all others fail, see "China House", Maple is the winner, hands down. THANK YOU!!!! What an amazing place.
