Food and service are great!! This was probably my favorite Mexican food in the greater OKC area. Birria quesadillas were spectacular highly recommend them. Al pastor nachos were very tasty and a huge portion. Flavor wise it was definitely good whenever you get a bite of chicken but needs something else to cover the rest of the chips. Salsa was fantastic and they have a spicier one you can ask for that was great too.Service was fantastic I forgot the name of our waiter but he really hustled and was quite nice.Not the nicest building and it's sitting off alone in a dark area near a hotel. Didn't seem sketchy but gives off a weird vibe. If this place had a new location in a more populated area and a little makeover it would be packed constantly.

Came here on a whim. We're moving our oldest to new home near OU campus. This place really hit the spot after a full day of setting up her bed and desk and kitchen. The food was amazing and we couldn't wait to bring the rest of the family here to enjoy this place. That's why we ordered an extra meal to take home with us and share. The service staff is so attentive and helpful- they keep the energy light and cheerful. All of them were smiling, joking around and laughing- which is just what we needed after a day of hard labor. We'll definitely be back with more family members in tow because we haven't stopped talking about it even several days later.

My wife summed it up, "the most perfect Mexican food I have had in a long time, everything was on point." And I second that assessment. Perfect salsas came with the chips. This was not tomato salsa. The mild, was a fresh mild smokey pepper salsa. The picante was similar with good fire. The meals were perfect in every way. Nothing could make them better. My wife had a beef tamale and beef enchilada covered with chili, refried beans and fried diced potatoes. I had a shredded beef filled relleno covered with chili, borracho beans and fried diced potatoes on the side. The borracho beans were of homemade quality. Tender beans, in a smokey flavorful broth with bits of fresh chopped jalapeno, onion and tomato. Crisp fried diced potatoes. A relleno filled with tender seasoned beef. Mama Lety's is an authentic full-flavored style of Mexican food originating from the city of Reynosa, Mexico, according to the menu cover. A good description would be Mex Tex!This was absolutely delicious. I occasionally eat Mexican food, but I don't recall any meal this enjoyably perfect. The restaurant was nothing fancy. The service is great. The friendly young lady Ixel, was our server today.

This was honestly a pleasant surprise to say the least. The Quesabirria was such a cool twist on regular birria tacos, and came with a flavorful consomè. The portion sizes were great, and the side of rice and beans was awesome! I also can't say enough about the staff at this place, they went above and beyond to make sure we were served correctly, and met any needs we might've had! Try this place out!!!

Pretty good. Tried this restaurant for the first time on Saturday. The chips/salsa/queso were great. Service was good. My beef fajitas were pretty good. My husband ordered chile rellenos which were different but not my favorite. They weren't breaded at all. Everything is a bit pricier than the typical local Mexican food restaurant in OKC. We will probably return and perhaps order some different items.

I was immediately seated and a server came to take my drink order. I ordered the Spinach and Avocado Enchiladas. After a bit, a woman brought out a plate and asked if I had a tamale. I said no so she took it back. A few minutes later, another woman came out with that plate and said her mama wanted me to try the tamale. She even checked that I wasn't vegetarian (because of my other order). By the time I finished that, my enchiladas were ready. Honestly? The tamale was better! And I was so full I couldn't eat the other. Later the second woman asked how I liked the tamale even. My server was attentive and polite. The chips could be a bit better. Otherwise great place.
