Lucille's Roadhouse

The food was good but it came out onY warm. The waitress was nice and attentive. It wasn't too loud when we were there either. Cute 50's style place with lots of nostalgic signs. This is one of two locations they have from what I can tell.

Super slow service and inattentive wait staff made Sunday lunch last until nearly 3pm. We were with out of state friends who chose the spot. It was beyond embarrassing. One person did not receive his meal until everyone else was done. And where was the expo? Fish tacos were laughable. We were embarrassed for you.

Good clean establishment. Nice bartender. Claimed 20 years. I had a cocktail, ordered dinner and a glass of wine. Pleasant enough. Huge TVs. Nice music. Bartender was a lovely gal. But that's where it ends. The lights were so bright that I felt like I was being operated on. When I inquired about it to another employee, nothing happened. The steak was OK but completely trimmed so that 1/3 rd was gristle. The potato came out wrapped in foil. WTF? What am I supposed to do? Eat the foil? There is a huge rule, if it isn't edible, don't serve it. If someone figures out the lighting issue I would come back. Like I said, the girl was nice. Claimed to have bartended for 20 years but didn't recognize Monday night football.

Large roadhouse, with an extensive menu. Appetizer, burgers, sandwiches, steaks, fish, and several choice of sides to go with your meal. They have it all. Great place for a crowd - everyone can get what they want. Full bar. Beer and wine available. Exceptional service.

The front entrance is a recreation of the gas station on Route 66, so points for that. Portions were small and food was greasy, we both had sandwiches so not sure how they were greasy.

10oz Cowboy Burger was over-priced and over-cooked... Barmaid was over-worked and under-attentive...A few good beers on tap.Careful if you have one too many of them beers, you'll get lost in the maze getting in & outta this place. Oklahoma needs to send their Roadway Engineers back to school...

Go somewhere else. Service is horrible. Order was wrong after waiting an hour. The manager didn't even know what town we were in.

My husband and I stopped for lunch on a roadtrip because he wanted chicken fried steak. Service was good and our food came out fast. I got a steak salad that was very good. It was obvious the oil in the fryer was too hot because CFS was crispy, but my husband said it tasted okay. He really liked the mashed potatoes & fried okra. He tried the jalapeño gravy but said it wasn't his favorite.

We're back on I40 in Oklahoma again, it's lunch time, so that means stopping at Lucille's Roadhouse! Only this time, Lucille's in Clinton, OK. Let's get the only negative thing out of the way first. My wife had the BBQ pulled pork with cheese sandwich and I had the jalapeño burger. My wife did not care for the sauce on her's and we both thought the meats were a bit too dry. They would have been great had the meats been juicer. The sides were good and the service and ambiance were excellent! Our server, Rissa, could not have been more attentive and pleasant. I enjoyed the motif more than the Weatherford location, though both are nice. Clinton's really had the "Route 66" theme going. Recommend you try either location, but can't suggest the burgers.
