This is a decent Lowes. I mainly come to look at their plants (which they are unfortunately super skilled at killing. This location has a better selection than others close by. The last time I went in I specifically had a few projects in mind. One of the workers went out of his way to walk me around the store to find the supplies which I immensely appreciated and definitely was not expected. I do love that they offer masks at the front doors to patrons (even though the pile is usually empty)They definitely used to have better discounts on their plants that were going out of season or in the dying process and I wish they would give people a chance to save a plant instead of letting them die completely.

For materials Lowe's is great but I continue having a terrible experience hiring them for installation of flooring. The young person helping me either does not know what she is doing or does not care. She keeps making up stories just so she can hang up the phone. I talked to a manager and she acted bewildered, like it could not be true. There is no accountability once Lowe's has your money for the contracted work and I am stuck coordinating all the scheduling between Lowe's and the contractor. I have had to request cancellation of the project before I could get anyone's attention. Lowe's and their contractor closed out my work even though it was not complete. I'm now back on the phone having to request a partial refund to get anyone's attention. Save your time and frustrations and go to a reputable flooring company. It is the same amount of money and much less hassle.

So my washing machine went out and I called Lowe's to see if they had the model I was looking at. First time I called, I was put on hold several times. No one in appliances could be found. I talked to someone up front, and asked if someone in appliance could call me back. After a few hours and no call, I called the store and immediately after being answered by an employee, I got hung up on. Thinking it was a mistake, I called back and was again hung up on. I guess Lowe's doesn't care about selling appliances anymore. I've spent a lot of money at this Lowe's, and can't believe they don't have staff that care about the stores reputation.

I recently bought 3 patio sun screens from the "close out" table. When I attempted to install them I discovered all 3 screens were actually broken and would not retract up or down. The tension rod on all 3 screens were actually broken before we removed them from the box. Lowe's shouldn't sell broken and unusable merchandise as close out items without disclosing the fact first. I don't recommend buying any of their close out items because there's no guarantee that the item won't be a complete piece of unusable rubbish.

We have been very loyal to this Lows location over the last three years and never had an issue,until now. We purchased a Frigidaire convection cooktop and after 6 weeks it has completely failed and will noy work. We paid Lows for the product,installation and extended warranty. When we contacted Lows we were directed to Frigidaire to deal with them since it is outside the 48 hours that Lows stands behind the products they sell. Well dealing with Frigidaire is absolutely frustrating and borderline unproductive. They have informed us that we will be with out a stove for a minimum of 11 days before they can get someone out to even look at it. Not ideal! We just went to Lows to see if they can help with any of this (since we are Lows customer) and were basically told there is nothing they can do to expedite a service call since all of their installations are done through a third party. There was no offering of taking down our names and numbers to see if they can work with the third party to get someone out quicker. It was you can get a small refund or a return. So we left with zero resolution, zero feeling that we matter as their customer and a very solid opinion that you should never buy appliances and installation through Lows.....PERIOD!!!! Lows take care of your customers then have your vendors thake care of you. This is how it should work without exception.

To the Scumbag in Orangeburg SC who hacked my account on the Lowe's Home Improvement website and purchased a hot water heater and installation package totaling $559.59 on my credit card: I hope your water heater develops a leak and does at least $559.59 worth of damage to your property AND I hope you get caught!To Lowe's Home Improvement : Your website has been hacked. Your multi-factor authorization obviously doesn't work. This isn't the first data breach you've allowed to happen. And, your customer service department is not knowledgeable nor helpful about how to resolve the situation - making litigation a likely unavoidable source of remedy. Please close my account - I won't be needing it ever again.

I bought a really nice dishwasher that was a special order. In the era of Covid it took months to come in, that isn't Lowes fault. I finally received my order approximately 1 month ago. Two days ago one of the wash wands fell off. I went to Lowes wash wand in hand to get them to schedule them to come to my house to fix my dishwasher.CRICKETS After speaking to four different levels of polite apologetic staff I left understanding this was my problem and I needed to contact GE. They do have a method to have things repaired but I hadn't purchased an extended warranty. Lowes only takes responsibility for 48 hours unless you pay for an extended warranty. Really?
