Overloaded fire hazard plug socket
Nylon bed cover and damp mattress
Just love vintage fixtures!
Dirty door and spiders
We enjoyed this historic place. The charme of this Motel is its authentic vintage Route 66 atmosphere. This is the real thing.

We stayed in Room 104 on 10/17/2023; $91.60 for the night. Absolutely adorable cabin property - with front lawns - a complete blast from the past. Between the drapes, carpet and bed spread, the room was a total kaleidoscope but that's okay! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Shower hot and good pressure - the shower head was definitely an upgrade. Adorable mix of vintage and updated. LOVE! Grade A.

Utterly disgusting. Should be ZERO STARSTruly the worst place I have ever stayed. Rude, obnoxious owner.-Damp, awful smell, rotten old bed, nylon bed cover that hasn't been laundered.I'm covered in bug bites from this place.-Damp carpets-Torn unusable chairs-Sawn up furniture! Like literally sawn in half-Naked light bulbs attracting bugs-Spiders and webs on the inside of the room-One electrical outlet supplying the fridge, microwave, TV and AC unit & when I plugged my phone in to charge the TV went off and the lights flickered it was an absolute fire hazard-Smelt like an abandoned spice shop toilet-The bathroom was ultra grim I couldn't even bring myself to shower it was so awful, the door didn't close and the faucet didn't work The decor - oh my goodness - no words can express the hell of itNo Wi-Fi givenThe A/C unit was so old and so loud and I have left there with a respiratory condition I should sue for my medical bills I ran out of here after 5 hours of broken sleepWipe your feet on the way out and avoid this place like the plague.

Travelling Route 66, you'd think you want to stay at one of the more famous places along the route. This one's been in many books, photos of it abound. However, it's a dump, or at least our room was. There were dangerous looking extension cables -stapled- to the wall to power the TV and microfridge, some sort of funk on all the walls, something (and I didn't want to know what) spilled on the baseboards with dirt embedded in it. In the bathroom I was able to write an X in the dirt on the top of the cup dispenser (which was empty), and the wife spent one full hour disinfecting the tub and shower curtain (which had black mold on it in the folds) just so we could use it in the morning. The clerk just shrugged his shoulders when I expressed my concerns and complaints. I wasn't looking for free, but reducing the charge would have been reasonable compensation.I would have left and demanded a refund when we started discovering these things, but it was past 1am, and we were completely exhausted from driving, and knew the next likely motels were way off. The wife was tired too, but thought she'd just clean things up (she always carries cleaning supplies when we travel) and we could tolerate it. We did, but we shouldn't have had to.Stop and take photos of their historic sign if you like, but pass on staying here. (By the way, I have photos of all the gunk, should the owner want to dispute my facts.)

It is CLEAN. Decor may not be lovely and paint job is pretty bad...but the place is clean.

This is the WORST place I have ever stayed in. I travel a lot for my work and stay in hotels and motels all over the country and this without a doubt, was the worst place I have ever stayed in. There aren't many options in this neck of the woods and generally, I don't like having to drive 25-35 miles each day to go to where I am working, I should have in this case. You better have your tetnus shots up to date if you stay here. Sheets looked like they came off the set of Debbie Does Dallas, toilets looked like they were made for the oompa lumpas in Willy Wonka land, carpet I'm pretty sure has diseases on it not yet known to man. Wall paper is literally falling off the walls and the microwave had a smell that resembled that of poop and burnt hair. If they gave the rooms away for free I wouldn't stay there again.

Quaint. Clean. Neat as a pin. Excellent hosts. The Lincoln Motel met our needs and expectations. It was a pleasure to spend a long weekend at this Route 66 landmark. WiFi good. Water pressure great.

The rooms are clean and the showers have great water pressure and lots of hot water. The motel is conveniently located on Route 66, and easy access to downtown, the Armary and the Boomerang Diner. Going the other direction is Sonic and McD's, and walking distance is a Mexican restaurant. Bed was springy and the bathroom was clean and functional. Could have done with some fresh paint and a pity the neon sign is in decline.

I would not even give this place one star if it would let me. I was very disappointed. I walked into the room and the stench hit me immediately. Firstly, everything is very old and outdated. There were old blood stains on the walls behind the door (I kid you not!) and what looked like old blood stains on the carpets. I pulled back the sheets to check them and there were spots from bed bugs on them. The bed sunk deep, too, and was very old. The table was sticky. The door itself was filthy and looked like had been repairs a few times. Not to mention, it was not the room I requested, had no desk, and did not match the photos on the site I booked from. I immediately went to the man who checked me in. I was polite when I went to him and we had a bit of a language barrier. I told him I was going to check out and could I please get a refund. He immediately became angry and very rude. I had called my husband already and had him on my phone while this man spoke to me. He demanded his 15% commission from Expedia before he would consider letting me check out. I went into the room alone (dumb move, I know!) with him to point out the areas I found, and he stood in the door way literally screaming at me and would not let me out until I gave him the phone with my husband on it who set him straight. He man had me in tears. He finally asked me to come into his lobby and he demanded the original receipt, which I showed him and he finally gave me a refund. As I signed it, he REACHED into my purse and grabbed a flyer I had for his motel. I was shocked and as I was leaving he was screaming at me in his language. I wish we would have recorded it because it was horrible. I would never ever recommend staying here, especially if you are a young lady alone.
