We went in here because our builders (Tabor homes) said that we could exchange all of our light bulbs for free for life. That was indeed not true of the light bulbs that we received from Tabor but lifestyles does have a lifetime warranty on light bulbs of different varieties at a very low price. It is an amazing deal. We were upset that Tabor Homes was dishonest (we even called them that day to clarify and they lied to us then too) but we were happy we found this place. We will be buying all of our lights here. They lost a star because their employees are not welcoming or friendly AT ALL. They do not greet customers, smile or engage in positive customer service. It is very strange. The light fixtures are beautiful, definitely very expensive though.

I would agree with most of the low ratings here concerning customer service. It's very poor. I have shopped here with a generous budget during a remodel and my mom shopped for a single chandelier for her home. I got SLIGHTLY more help compared to us being practically nonexistent when we shopped for my mom. Basically, if your not spending $$$$, or associated with their network/circle of designers/builders/contractors, they have no desire to help you. Even if you do want a high price item, you'll have to work for their attention.

I'm surprised by all of the negative reviews! We recently purchased a condo and needed a new light fixture as well as a couple of fans. Our salesperson, Lance, was very helpful and helped us pick the right size fans we needed for our rooms as well as taking the time to explain how much air each one can circulate. The first one has been installed and it provides a LOT of circulation in a room that would likely be stuffy without it. We also loved the fact that the fans had a more modern look than what you might find at other stores. Gotta love when it can be fashionable and functional! Lance also made sure we understood that some of our items were special purchases and could not be returned without a stocking fee. We have no need to return anything, but I appreciate the fact that he wanted to make sure there were no surprises if we had changed our mind. Communication post-sale was also really good. Everything had to be ordered and Lance followed up each time an item came in. The pricing was also very reasonable and I feel there was good value for what we spent. I love their furniture as well and we will definitely be back should we need other items in the future.

Not only are their light fixtures incredibly overpriced but my wife and I got there about 5:15 pm and were still shopping at 6 pm when some rude old hag approached me and asked if we were going to buy anything and I said probably not today, and she said well we close at 6 and I politely responded that we should be through looking in about 10 mins. She said "10 minutes??, well we're closed now, you need to leave". So much for customer service. Guess we won't be back even though we have a $6000 lighting budget for our remodeling project. Other stores were extremely helpful btw. Kind of sad, really. It looks like they could have used the business.

We recently went on a search to replace 2 sofas and walked into Lifestyles in Edmond. We were helped by Laura. She is FABULOUS!!!! After visiting other furniture stores and not finding what I was looking for, I described what I wanted and she got on the internet. She found a manufacturer out of North Carolina that had the EXACT sofa I was hoping to buy. And then, instead of point me to a hundreds/thousands of fabric samples to pick from, she asked me questions and started narrowing it down for me. She worked with me until I had picked out the PERFECT fabric. She has great insights, great design ideas, and she is super friendly! I LOVED working with her and ended up getting 2 of the most luxurious sofas we have ever owned! I HIGHLY recommend working with Laura. She is a GEM!!!

I got here at 20 mins before closing and it's all locked up! If you close earlier then update your info. Not great to drive a distance and waste a customers time. They have wonderful products but need help on customer experience!

Five years ago we built a 4,000 sq ft home and used Lifestyles for every single light fixture, interior hardware and door knobs. The selection was excellent, multiple price points available and our builder highly recommended. At time, we were offered lifetime guaranty and exchange for LED bulbs and that our purchases would also be "in the system" in case of replacement/warranty etc. The initial follow up with Kathy/Sales was excellent but since her departure the customer service is progressively worsened. That the sales staff feel so comfortable, even emboldened to be dismissive and rude to the sales promotion we were offered at purchase is disheartening. And not just one- but another joined conversation sarcastically stating they didn't have to provide this service but they will. The fact that I was the ONLY customer in the building in a weekday afternoon speaks volumes about the success they have in attracting and maintaining a customer base. I would recommend window shopping here to see selection of beautiful fixtures but absolutely purchase elsewhere!

Today I went into lifestyles to look for a new light to replace my entryway light. I was in the store for at least 15 minutes not once did one of the staff stop to greet me say hello or acknowledge that I was there. There were two people working that day one other person in the store who they happen to be helping after about 15 minutes of walking back-and-forth I decided to leave and call the store for my car. The sales person became belligerent and argued with me that I was not in the store that long and that eventually she was going to speak to me. In what world or country does that make sense? Customer service 101 a customer walks in, you simply acknowledge them with a simple hello I'll be with you in a moment. Is that unreasonable? This is a store I will never ever patronize again. I've never been treated so poorly in all of my days. Then to have a customer service representative make excuses for their bad behavior, management you need to do better. Racial profiling, rude, arrogant staff. Owners get a clue.

I finally got my fan after I called to see if was there. I get it home and it's yellow in my house I thought they ordered the wrong color but it looks white in the store. I didn't want it so I had to pay 50% restocking fee!
