I had read negative comments and decided to give them a shot anyway. A friend of mine dropped my pig off for me. I had to call them 5 days after my pig was dropped off because they hadn't contacted me for a cut list. Then I had to call them 3 weeks later to find out my pork was ready because they hadn't called. I had a hanging weight of 240lb and only received 115lb of meat (48% return). Furthermore, my package had 4 hams (last time I checked, a pig only has 2 hams) and 4 pork bellies (should only had one). The only curing I had done was the hams, which should have been about 2 10 lb hams, instead it was 4 totaling 38lbs. They charged me for 52lbs of curing. After all that, I called to find out what happened. No answer so I left a message. It's been a day and a half now with no answer. In summary, I trusted this company with the processing of my pig. I had to initiate all contact, and I ended up with parts from (at least) 4 different pigs. Who knows if any of this pork is from the pig that I raised. When I called to discuss these issues, I was ignored. I will never use this company again and recommend everyone else avoid them if you want to get the meat from the animal you bring in.

I do not recommend. Took me 20 minutes to trim 1 pound of stew meat. My parents were both meat inspectors for Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, and I can tell you from 20+ years experience with each parent it's the nastiest meat I have ever had. Hamburger meat had so much trash ground up in it as well as bone. The smell of the hamburger while it was cooking was off putting as well. Spend a lot of money to feed an animal or purchase one just to have someone ruin it while it's being processed! I couldn't give zero stats so I had to give it a one. They don't deserve a one either.

I would like to post a more current review. As I understand it, this business is under relatively new ownership and management. I purchased a half hog and it was sent to Larry's to process. I picked up our meat today. I was very pleased with the way the meat was packaged. The various cuts were very generous. The people were courteous and prompt. I haven't eaten any of the meat yet but it looks very good. I was very satisfied.

This smells like a gut wagon. They processed a hog and a calf . Both times I was disappointed they don't know how to cut meat at all. There smoking process is nothing but liquid smoke. The beef has a smell to it and the brisket had green spot on it which tells me that they killed the calf and went to lunch and didn't put it in the cooler until the end of the day. I was raised on a farm and worked in a meat market so I know what I'm talking about. Country home meats in Edmond doses a excellent job and is state inspected
