This is the worst experience at lakeside ever. One of the workers was extremely rude and treated me like an idiot and almost got hit a couple of times and nobody said sorry.

Groupon had a wicked great deal - Golf & cart for 2, plus range balls and 2 free fountain drinks for $44 - Woo woo! Groupon aside, Lakeside's regular fees are actually quite inexpensive, especially considering the course quality - AWESOME muni course! Fairways and greens were in great shape and while I like the first roughs to be a bit shorter (these were an inch or more "fluffy"), overall, the course was a ton o' fun to play! And while most golfers aren't too concerned about restroom availability, the ladies will be happy to hear there is a restroom building (not a porta-potty) that is very clean, situated about halfway through 9-holes (in case you drink 5 cups of coffee and then a few beers to boot and can't wait a full 9 to get back to the clubhouse). Which speaking of - The clubhouse is very nice: friendly staff and a wide array of merchandise selection. While it looked like there is a kitchen, it wasn't open when we visited, but they did have snacks (chips, crackers, etc.). Also, good driving range, though it is a bit oddly placed - you have to drive back to around hole 7 to reach. The only downside was that there wasn't a beverage cart person driving around the course (don't know if they have one or if it's only reserved for weekends), so make sure to stock up on beverages at the clubhouse. For such a nice course, I was surprised to see so few people out playing (though we did go on a holiday weekend). HIGHLY recommend Lakeside - it's only about an hour and a half drive from OKC and it is definitely worth your time!

Terrible customer service, my group of 4 came in there looking to hit the range but it was closed. The man at the desk told us he has a tee time at 5:15, we were under the impression they closed at 7 as it says on the website. We we charged $30 each and played a total of 3 holes before after 20 minutes of play we get a message on the cart saying to come back in and return the carts because the course is closing. We come back in and ask for a possible refund or even a rain check. Before I even ask for a refund as I am explaining our issue he cuts me off and says we don't do refunds. I say a rain check is fine if possible and he says we close at 6 and there's nothing he can do. I explain to him we'd be happy to come back another day with the rain check and there way just misinterpretation on the closing time as it was the day of the daylight savings switch. He did not care and showed no apologies even though he's the one who offered the 5:15 tee time knowing that we would only be out there for no more than 20 minutes. When he offered that time with the full price there was no mention about an earlier closing time than listed on the website. I find this to be terrible business practice and a terrible way to take care of your customers, at any other golf course this would typo be a rain check at there very least. We were scammed out of $120 total to say the least. This course clearly does not treat its customers with decency.
