This is a very nice La Quinta. The lobby and breakfast area are very stylish. Our King room large. Plenty of onsite self-parking. And then you notice thr small lack of attention to details. Upon entering our room, we see a pile of cleaning clothes sitting on an end table. We took a look around to be sure the room was clean. The bed was made in a rush, but the bathroom looks clean and things are in place so we figured the housekeeper was rushed and forgot them. The bed is comfortable although the sheets are 'pilled'. Pillows are mid-dense (not flat, not lofty). The light comforter is nice. Two sets of towels are thick and sturdy. Single use Dove products.Breakfast was very lack luster. Coffee was *always out - like seriously that vacuum pump dispenser could not have been full. Even the new coffee was at best, tepid. Besides bread and a few mini-muffins there were 4 bagels and the one I selected was literally stale-hard. Can't eat that. The sausage patties were 'slimy', scrambled eggs, well you know how those are. The gentleman in charge of breakfast was in the lobby surfing his phone. Guests had to find him and ask for things. That's not OK.We asked for a possible late check-out so we could use their guest laundry. Clothes were in the machine when housekeeping knocked on our door. When we said we would be there for a while the staff spent a good deal of time holding a conversation yelling down the hall to one another. Half hour later, another knock, we are still in room, another yelled conversation in the hall. Classy. We are obviously ruining their schedule.Guest laundry is on the ground floor near the pool. Use your credit or debit card to pay. Two dollars per wash (~30 min) and two dollars per dry (~45 min). Use the high heat setting to be sure they are fully dry. The laundry room and machines were in good condition. Ice machine is also on the ground floor near the pool. We checked out a few minutes past checkout time - partially because we were in line waiting our turn. There seems to be a deep apathy among the staff here. They are doing less than the bare minimum and I wonder about hotel managements part in this lack of pride in their work. The hotel is very nice. The price reasonable. Staff lackluster.

It's hard to know where to begin here, there were just so many things that were wrong. Fifteen minute wait at an empty check in counter once we arrived until the maintenance man got the manager who was outside smoking.Nobody was at the check in counter the entire time we were there until we lift.My daughter did see an employee stuffing bags of chips from their 'market store' at the front into her bag before walking out though.Breakfast was day old stale bread for making toast and nobody was there to prepare food. Guests were just walking into their kitchen storage area and picking bananas out of a box on the floor. Then after we went next door to get breakfast at Braums and brought it back to eat in the dining area of the hotel an employee finally shows up and says "so how is everybody enjoying their breakfast?" My wife just deadpans back "There isn't any." The ladies next to us just cracked up and the employee just walks off mumbling about heating something up.Moving onto the room portion of the review ... soft beds, small roaches in the sink, mold in the shower and general disrepair. I couldn't even bring myself to take a shower before we left it was just that bad.We booked here despite the bad reviews because they were dog friendly, so we hoped the rating wasn't accurate. The reviews were dead on though. This was the worst hotel I have stayed at in years.

We pulled in to stay one night and brought two vehicles and a trailer. Luckily, there was a ton of parking space behind the hotel and we were able to park there easily. That filled up a bit more by the morning, but still had a few spaces left even then.We chose La Quinta because we brought our dog along, and we had no major problems there. To our luck, we actually got a room above a maintenance room (219), so we hopefully didn't bother anyone with him running around. The room was decent, with a mini fridge, microwave, small coffee maker, and a TV. The carpet was frayed and peeling up at one side, but nothing too bad. The shelf in the shower was missing with just some caulk left behind, but there was space on the edge of the tub that worked fine. The location is nice, being just off of the highway and right next to Braum's, where we picked up a quick dinner. The check-in process was easy, and the staff were very friendly throughout our stay. The only issue there was that the front desk was seemingly unattended for a short while during the night. We called multiple times with a quick question, getting no answer. When I went down to the lobby, there was no one at the desk and the phone was practically ringing off the hook. There was a simple continental breakfast from 6:30 to 10. It wasn't wonderful, but it wasn't too bad. The juice definitely wasn't watered down as other reviews have mentioned, so that's a plus.Overall, this wasn't an amazing stay and there ware some clear areas for improvement, but it wasn't terrible.

Stayed here 2 nights. Real close to freeway. Easy to get in and out except at rush hour. Hard to make a left turn as there is no light. Decent amount of parking.Room is pretty spacious with a comfy bed. My room had one bed with a table and chair. There is relatively good size space in the middle with a TV by the wall and a sitting chair. Check in and out was efficient. Staff was friendly. Only hiccup, which the hotel fixed, was the hotel was overbooked one night but managed to get me in. Greatly appreciated that.Offers simple breakfast of egg, bacon. waffle, brisket and gravy, toast, and bagel. Pretty simple.Pool is decent. It is indoors and not deep. Starts at 3 feet and goes 5 feet. The work out room is decent with a treadmill, elipitical, and some weights.

I had booked this on Expedia, the rate was quite reasonable. We checked in around 7 pm, the lobby was clean and the front desk staff friendly. We check into our room, as the evening progressed we had people in rooms down the hall playing music so loud we could here it in our room. They were screaming obscenities in the hall and the heavy smell of pot permeated the air, our direct neighbors had their TV on so loud it was vibrating the wall. This was not a relaxing environment after traveling. My husband, on the verge of losing his temper goes to call the front desk... but the phone is broke. He and my son walk down to the lobby ( we were on the 3rd floor) to report this. Some of the partying subsided but our direct neighbors continued to play their TV at a very loud level. We waited a while to see if they would turn it down, nope. We use our personal phone to call again as the room phone is broke. We were told "it's just an elderly couple eating pizza". I don't care who it was, it was so loud we could not hear our own TV. Eventually around 11:30 pm the TV was turned off. As far as the condition of our room, it needed a little maintenance. Along with the phone not working , the pull out sofa had cushions filthy and stained, the toilet need to either be tighten or shimmed as it rocked every time you sat on it and the hook on bathroom door was ripped out. The main lobby and breakfast area was clean and they did provide a decent breakfast, the staff was very friendly and again the price was reasonable. If management would address maintenance better and issues of disturbance by other guest this could be a really nice hotel.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE HOTEL!We booked a room here in May because we are driving across the country. They called two days before our stay to say they are canceling our reservation due to renovations. I then receive an email from them saying it is cancelled due to a credit card. We immediately called corporate. Corporate said they shouldn't have done that! The manager then called us and denied sending the email. He was extremely rude. We currently have a case open against that hotel for further investigation. DO NOT STAY HERE!

From the moment I arrived at the front desk, I was "greeted" with a dour face and attitude.I got into my room and the AC didn't work properly. The front desk clerk made me feel as though I was disturbing her for asking her to check it out. She did come with me, and subsequently put me into another room, that was functional. The electric was wrong. Any outlet next to a sink must be a GFCI to avoid electrocution. The carpets were dirty and stained in the hallways. In the a.m., I went for a hot breakfast, and the food was barely lukewarm. I mentioned it to the woman who was in charge of the breakfast area, and she immediately became snippy and said that she had just put it out. I replied that the food was cold, and she said I was the only person who "complained" (I was very kind about it). There were only three people in the dining area.I went back and tried to eat the cold eggs, but just couldn't. I threw out my food in the trash can, and she stood beside it and cackled loudly at me. She was rude, and said inappropriate things that had nothing to do with her post in the hotel. When I checked out, I asked for the manager's business card. Attiq Rehman never responded to my email.

My husband and I and our Boston Terrier have spent 3 nights here. Standard room was absolutely spotless when we checked in. Both of the front desk clerks that I have met are very friendly, helpful, and courteous. All the common areas are also very clean. I love La Quinta because they are so pet friendly unlike most other competitor hotels. They have designated pet areas with provided poop bags and disposal facilities. They also have designated smoking areas with disposal facilities. The continental breakfast is adequate and always hot. Dining room is well cared for and very clean. I'd recommend them to anyone with or without a pet. .

I travel for work allot and I have never dealt with such negative hospitality and irresponsible hotel staff. This is my 4 th week at this hotel and every week it's something. The front desk has some very rude people. One time I came back from work and my hotel room door was wide open the cleaning lady Left the door on accident I get it, luckily it was just clothes if it had been a company laptop that's another story. I only chose this hotel because guys at work recommended it. ITS CHEAP you get what you pay for.I have stayed at 40$ a night, MOTELS with more hospitality than this place. Cleaner as-well. Usually it's cleanliness that makes me switch hotels but I'm fed up with the Hotel staff. Hope that this reaches a senior executive manager who fires the hotel Manager and gets an actual leader who can train people.
