This is a great hotel if you're traveling in the Oklahoma City area. This hotel is conveniently located off of I-35 North in Edmond. The hotel is very clean and affordable, and the hotel is located near countless restaurants, shops and gas stations. The area is north of Oklahoma City, but you can get to areas in the city in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend this hotel.

I travel a lot for work and typically have to get a room for up to a week on occasion. Well, I got to stay here for less than 24 hours and it was a breath of fresh air! We've stayed in some duds before, and this is certainly not one. Only wish I could have swapped this one for one of the others we've had in the past. Man!!Breakfast was decent and the front desk staff was very friendly and personable. If I recall correctly, this was my first time staying in a La Quinta Inn. Highly recommended! I'll keep them in mind for the future.

I've stayed at this laQuinta two times and it's 5 star in my book. First, the price is right for a hotel of this caliber. Next, the service is excellent; the staff is friendly and helpful and will do what it takes to make your stay a good one. The room is comfortable, clean, and comes complete with everything you need including easy to set up, free wifi. My dog, Oreo, loves it here as well! Usually, she gets to meet at least one other four-legged friend! Now, the food. I eat at a lot of hotels in this price range and the food is usually not my favorite thing. Usually cold and boring. But this laQuinta has taken the food Up a notch. There is enough variety to please everyone from boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, and pastries to bran muffins, yogurt, and blueberry waffles! See my photos. The food was at the right temperature too. And they had REAL butter!I especially like the blueberry waffles. You can even mix a waffle with half plain, half blueberry! See my photo. And it was delicious. I really like this hotel. The only improvements I could recommend is to get a microwave out in the dining area. I would have liked to warm my pastries.

I gave it 2 stars only because of the night assistant who was extremely helpful in trying to deal with a room smell and my vandalized vehicle. Things you should know:1) Towels have stains2) Bring air freshener. The room we were given smelled like beef and macaroni and cheese. It was a strong odor.3) There was what looked like rabbit/rat feces or possibly small dog food on the floor in a corner that we unfortunately didn't notice until day 3 (cause we got in so late each night)4) This facility is clearly animal friendly. There was animal hair on the couch and floor. There were pets in the eating areas.5) The area is near a major highway. Our vehicle was broken into and stuff from inside stolen. Due to the Holiday, when I asked for someone to come clean the room (because it obviously had not been 'cleaned' since or before we arrived) they said there was no cleaning staff available. I requested and was given a vacuum so i could clean it. The clerk did offer to move us to another room (smaller, or give us two rooms) but that would mean we would have to pack up and move. Not ideal given how much time that would involve and the time of night. The breakfast staff are nice but the food was not as good as other hotels providing free breakfast. All in all it has been a disappointing experience. I was told the manager would reach out due to the vehicle vandalism. He never did. He told me a day later that then was the first he heard about it. Who is telling the truth? The manager "comped" our room given the issues. We are grateful for that. We hope they are able to fix the items they can and improve security around the facility. There are 5-6 hotels and if they split the cost on security it wouldn't be that cost prohibitive.

Incredibly rude front desk agent. I had a conversation with two front desk agents this morning about a 3 pm checkout I even offered to pay extra for such a late checkout. The two front desk agents said they did not know of fee and one of them said she would let me checkout at 3. At 2 pm I get a call from the front desk and another agent told me I must leave the room. I explained to her about the previous conversation and she told me I was wrong. She said there was only one room who had a late checkout and they had paid an extra 50$. I offered to pay the 50$ but she told me it was not about the money. Wow what an incredibly mismanaged group of employees. On top of that the walls of the room are dirty.

My husband and arrived at the LaQuinta in Edmond, Ok at 3:00am the morning of May 14 to check in. There was no one at the front desk. We were at the hotel for almost an hour and no one ever came to the desk. We went to other hotels near the LaQuinta to see if anyone could help us. Chase, the night manager from the Fairfield came over and looked everywhere for whoever was supposed to be working and nada. No one was there. I called the following Monday to complain and to make sure my card was not charged. I was asked to write a statement, which I did. I haven't heard a word since. When I called the 800 number, I was told that I didn't check in by 3PM so couldn't check in until the next day at 3 PM. We come to Edmond often but will never attempt to stay there again.

Would not recommend or stay here again. We travel all the time for softball tournaments so I have stayed in many hotels. Hotel staff is not friendly or knowledgeable. They are also rarely at the desk. Have to yell so they come out of the back room. Front desk did not know what a plunger was. They were also out of pillows for the pullout sofa and were constantly out of towels. Laundry was not reliable and stopped mid load during the wash. There was dog hair all over the sheets and mattress and the room smelled. Too bad since the hotel itself is decent looking. Other than that, it's service and cleanliness is very much below par.

The bathroom corners and floor was filthy. The room had a funny smell. The night clerk was not at all friendly. I asked about resteraunts and she said check the internet but did not give us a password to use.The couch had a hole in it and the elevator had a pile of dried dog poop.Not good!!

Horrible customer service. The young girl was very rude got mad because I questioned her about the cost of snacks. She gave me a different price than what was posted. Said she didn't know what the fucking sales taxes were. The ac is very loud sounds like a train and the room was very smelly.
