This is a cute little place set back off of Rockwell. Food was delicious, server was helpful and did a good job, will be back soon!You get salsa and white queso with your set up. We ordered the California Burrito and the Manchame Chicken. Both were just perfect!

Always in the mood for Mexican food and always looking for a new place to try. Thought this might be a good place to meet our kids for dinner. So we tried it out. Its good but nothing special. Be ready for a 4% charge if you use your credit card. It was OK but probably wont be back.

This place is really close to our house.1st time here after seeing reviews from Yelp friends. Such a friendly environment server was so nice. Food was so delicious and fresh, we got street tacos and wow the pork and chicken street tacos were amazing , the girls split a kids chicken quesadilla it was delicious.Because I didn't order anything as we all split.. got banged for a setup fee. I'd go there for the authentic Mexican cheese sauce, salsa, chips and Mangonada alone! Chips are homemade with the perfect crisp, a little thicker and able to hold up to Queso. The Queso dip is a nice melted Mexican cheese - Oaxacan maybe? I tried not to have seconds but couldn't resist! Salsa is freshly homemade - not spicy at all, but they do have spicy available. We had Shrimp/Fish Soup - huge bowl full of seafood with potatoes and other veggies. Not spicy. Couldn't finish it. Also Spinach Enchiladas - fresh spinach and sautéed onions. I asked for verde sauce on top and it was just the right amount of spice, not too much. Charro Beans instead of refried were homemade and tasty. Finished off with a sopapilla served with a BOTTLE of REAL honey instead of packets of fake stuff. Prices were not expensive considering the freshly made food. Best homemade tasting Mexican meal we've had in a while! Service was efficient and unobtrusive - we'll be back!

La Herradura Mexican grand opening. We were seated and serve complementary chips, salsa, and white queso. My hubby ordered the burrito, ground beef, lunch, special and chose green sauce to top the burrito. I ordered a Chile Relleno lunch. I wanted shredded beef Relleno, but they only serve ground beef, shredded chicken or cheese. The ground beef with chili sauce, the ground beef was mildly seasoned equal to what you would have in a taco. The chili sauce was nicely seasoned. The Mexican rice and refried beans were tasty.The ambiance was very sterile. The walls painted white with Western theme pictures. It did not have the festive Mexican restaurant atmosphere. Service was fast and friendly.

If you're instantly put off by a simple interior reminiscent of a community college cafeteria stop reading now. However, if you want good food in a not-fussy atmosphere, step inside. We were warmly greeted by the staff and everyone we spoke to was exceedingly friendly and welcoming. I don't know if this is a family business but the workers seem more invested than at other restaurants. They serve the chips with a red salsa (fresh and mild) with a white queso sauce. Both are fine accompaniments. But, make sure to ask for the spicy sauce! It's served warm, which I really enjoy, and is sneaky hot. The heat sits on the back of your tongue and slowly builds until your scalp is sweating. In my case, that's a very good thing. The menu is expansive and includes many options that were new to me. I will return to try them. I ordered the chicken enchiladas as a simple barometer. I got the cheese sauce but others are available. My husband got the hard tacos and took a bite before I could snap a picture. We were both very happy with our choices but I'm more excited to try new dishes on our next trip. The restaurant is off Rockwell and can't be seen from the street but is worth the effort. They have a bar set up but it was unstocked when we visited so I'm guessing it's a work in progress.

Came in for an urgent taco craving. Not very busy so everything came quickly. The service was very attentive, food was good, hot and fresh. Very open room, they have some t.v.s, very simple, clean and not too loud, but it was slow when I went.

Open just a month they don't yet have beer but will soon. My Mom had the Manchame Chicken which has chorizo and she doesn't like heat and said she loved it.My friend had the Hard Tacos with ground beef and he finished it off which he rarely does. He said it was fresh and tasted great.Because the cancer is hitting pretty hard, I only at half my Guiso Ranchero and it wasn't near as hot as I'm used to but I figure it's because of the crowd to which they're catering. Ask for it hotter or con mucho picante if you're a spice lover like me. That being said all the flavors of a guiso were there.The Flan tasted like all I ever had, a great Creamy sweet vanilla custard with Caramel sauce, but it came with whipped cream and Blue Berries on top which I wasn't expecting but was perfect with the custard that flan is. A must try and we will be back! El Sabor Que Me Gusto mucho! Plus a lot of the employees are Guatemalan, my favorite Hispanic country. But I'm biased as that is where my gorgeous Spanish instructor was born, she was amazing as a person, teacher, and friend!
