La Greek Restaurant

Enjoyed the restaurant. A quaint little restaurant with a nice couple who runs it with skilled service and enthusiasm! My Gyro was good and the tzatziki sauce was great!

Been about 6 months or so since I been here. Was the only one there. The lady behind the counter ( owners wife) took my order. 1 lb gyro meat, 2 pitas quartered up and tzatziki sauce. I found it was better and cheaper to order the meat and make my own. The flavor and seasoning of the meat is excellent as was the tzatziki sauce. I have been eating here since they opened in 1992 with a different Greek family(Gleen and Marsha). Not sure when they sold it but these owners are doing it justice. Not much for ambiance and you order at the counter. They also have plenty of other authentic Greek foods and desserts. Check them out.

Every time I come to OKC, I drop by La Greek. Delicious Mediterranean food. Nothing flashy but so, so good. I recommend the gyro dishes and oregano chicken. The gyro is cooked a little bit differently than other places and it's crispier.Check this place out if you're in the area!

This place is a hidden gem. Good food and atmosphere. It's rare to find a place that has good food and great service.

I'm very sorry to write this review, but this was a terrible experience. I gave it two stars only because the owners were nice. However, I don't think they've ever eaten Mediterranean food before, and I'm certain they didn't taste the food as they were cooking it. Their falafel was so bad I thought it might be rancid. And they put the falafel on everything, including the shawarma! The chicken shawarma was served on pita bread, and had that falafel, so initially, I couldn't tell the difference between the falafel sandwich (which is a falafel gyro) and the shawarma (basically a chicken gyro). They were literally the same thing with some badly fried chicken added. The hummus was liquidy (not sure how to describe it, but it wasn't the consistency of normal hummus), and the pita that goes with it wasn't crisped. The only saving grace was that their super gyro was decent. I ordered some baklava, but didn't even eat it. So out of everything ordered, the only edible things were the runny hummus and the super gyro. Guess I'll have to drive 30 minutes for good Mediterranean food.

Had the super gyro platter and it was excellent. The staff was really nice and courteous and the restaurant was very quiet.

Came back to this restaurant after visiting Oklahoma, and it's just as good as I remember! Super Gyro- classic Gyro with lettuce, onions, olives, tomato, and feta. This came with a portion of fries which were perfectly cooked. The gyro was so tasty and honestly probably one of the best gyros I've eaten! Their tzaiziki sauce is my favorite!! Veggie Delight- comes with a green salad, falafel, and dolma. They told me that they make the falafels in store and it was soooo good! Highly recommend! "Jason's Salad"- I didn't see this on the menu but ordered this bc other people were as well. It is a grilled chicken version of their chicken oregano. It was sooooo delicious!!! This is probably my new go-to! It was soooo flavorful and delicious! Whatever they put in their sauce is addictive! We also got a basket of their fried zucchini which was delicious as wellAltogether, the portions were big and the best part is how affordable it is. Highly recommend!!

Not much to say here! The food is fine. I can't speak on service, as I Postmate'd this to work.Gyros platter 3/5: The meat is okay - on the dry side. The portions are acceptable for the price even on a delivery app (not sure how much of an upcharge there is in comparison, sorry!). The lettuce of the salad was rather wilted, womp womp.

Good and consistent food at a decent price. They always give a lot of fries. It is a little bit cramped for large crowds but food is made fast and always brought to your table.
