La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant

Food was substandard by any stretch of the imagination -even for small town Oklahoma. So disappointed that I ended up eating here twice in my 4 day stay. I only ate here due to lack of options.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the Mexican food is served piping hot with plenty to take home. I had a pollo loco, it was the special for the evening. Thinly sliced chicken breast, seasoned perfectly, grilled and topped with grilled onions and served with rice and beans. My husband had been craving steak for a few nights, so he had the T-bone steak topped with peppers, onions and tomatoes, it was beautifully cooked at a medium - medium rare, and he enjoyed it. But the highlight of the meal was the sopapillas, golden brown and topped with honey oh so yummy. Service was quick and the waiter answered all my questions with ease.

The best chile verde I've ever had in a restaurant. We drive an hour to eat here. great tortillas too.

Sorry, but this restaurant has the best fajitas of anywhere I've eaten fajitas, and I've eaten fajitas lots of places in the US. Specifically the tropical fajitas. The sauce is what makes them. Excellent

FYI they charge extra for credit or debit payments. Also they won't seat you if they're busy and you are dining alone so call first unless you want take away.

From the moment we walked in & the whole time we ate our food the staff stood in the dining room and stared at us it made me so uncomfortable I didn't even finish my food.I ordered the veggie fajitas no beans or rice ( they use lard for those that care).The veggies were oiled soaked and salty .. the guacamole was inedible. I ordered a half order of guacamole ( 3.99) it was about a ramikin amount.. The rest of my table had chicken nachos .. they said they were ok . I personally would avoid this establishment. The food couldn't save the environment.. the staff staring and whispering in Spanish while we ate was the worst.

This is my go-to for great TexMex! Clean and festive atmosphere. Staff is always super friendly, food and drink are quality at a good price. Because it is so good, they are always busy. So don't mind a little wait, it's worth it! My favorite entrees include: Carnitas tacos, chicken fajita nachos, Bandera Special, Caldo de Pollo, and if you've got a big appetite, the Special Dinner. Don't forget a Sloppy DosEquis to wash it all down!

WOW prices went up and portions got smaller. Such a shame they downsized their value. We've been eating here for as long as we can remember. Not only was the service rude and unfriendly, the portions were DINKY! We spent $25 bucks and left hungry. Never again. Treat your customers with respect and kindness and they will return. Cutting corners to save money and delivering mediocre food is sad these days but it seems to be a trend.You've been warned.

Worth checking out. Good size portions for the price and full of flavor. Our server was still tentative even with a huge baseball or softball team taking up half the seating. Tables were not packed it so you didn't feel like you needed to talk to the table next to you like most places.
