If there was less than 1 star available I would give that to them. Purchased carpet, they called Friday before Monday installation to reschedule, carpet wasn't in. No big deal. Lady on the phone was asking to reschedule, was talking all over me, would not listen. She was wanting to charge me more than what was originally discussed, pretty much called me a liar because they had their facts wrong and never bothered to ask me. To top it off, she told me that I said I was going to tear out carpet myself, which I did not say and I changed the whole deal! Rude, would not listen to me, interrupted me at least 20 times during a 15 minute call. She also told me I didn't know what I was talking about. That's great customer service. I was trying to give a local store some business. Not sure who owns this place but I would be embarrassed! I requested my money back, we will see how that goes.Would not recommend, no wonder their parking lot is always empty.

I cannot give them a ) because it isn't listed We had Kregger's install wood flooring in our Family Room two years ago. We were extremely happy with the results and after a short period of time we decided to have the same flooring installed in the balance of our house, which was approximately 1,800 sq. feet. When we went back we were told the flooring we purchased had been discontinued and we would either need to pick a different type or try to purchase it on the internet. Fortunately we found a supplier in Alabama who shipped 24 boxes to us. We went back to Kregger's to arrange for installation and set an installation date. Kregger's required a deposit which I provided the following week. This is where the wheels fell off the cart and totally changed my opinion of Kregger's, their employees and how they truly treat their customers. When I returned with the deposit check I had to wait while the woman finished talking to two men who I believe were customers. As she continued to talk they exchange comments about the new car she had purchased, the type of tires she purchased and several other comments. All toll they talked for a good 10 minutes, all while I stood there with a check in my hand and my son sitting outside in my car. When they had finally finished exchanging comments I left the check thinking we would see them in a few weeks. Not so!! No one showed up nor called, but upon calling and asking if there was a problem I was assaulted with cuss words calling me a "Worthless Piece of S***" by an employee. I was told I had "Threatened" the clerk and she started crying because of my attitude, which is a total lie. I will never recommend this Local Company after they treated me in such a manner. I have read other reviews where it appears the same person I supposedly offended tried to pull stuff on other customers. My recommendation is "Stay Away".

We had the shower and floor redone 8-9 years ago by Kregger tile. We had trouble from the start. The corner of the shower leaked into my husband's closet. A few months ago I noticed that a tile on the floor of the shower looked like is was sinking. A few more quickly followed. We had to completely redo the floor of the shower. They did not put any kind of water barrier down. The floor of our shower was collapsing. The edge of the shower was not level which caused problems with our custom made door, so that had to be fixed also. In a nutshell they made multiple mistakes that cost me a lot of money. I would not recommend them for any bathroom renovations. The contractor that fixed our shower said that they didn't do anything correctly.

We asked Kreggers to redo all the carpet in our house and then repair tile that we needed to get fixed. They were recommended by a well-connected friend, and we had every reason to believe that they would do a great job. They did not.We agreed to a time when they would do the work. We needed it done in a certain time frame due to the sale of our house. They called 2 days before the work was supposed to be done, said they had trouble with A DIFFERENT customer, and said they'd need to push us back. The trouble seemed to be -- though I can't be positive -- not getting into the home of the other customer when they expected. Why then did they not start us at that point, I am not sure.We were told that they would get the work done Friday and Tuesday instead of Friday Saturday. I noted that we needed it done before the weekend, the guy on the phone told me he would work on that and call me back. He did not call me back. The workers arrived on Friday, and to their credit, installed all the carpet that day. When I arrived at the end of the day, it was chaotic. First, the person who was to fix the tile 'went to another job in Norman' according to one of the workers present. I was given no idea about what this then meant for the job he was supposed to do at my house. The worker said "i'm just a carpet guy." Not helpful. I called the main store, and was told pointedly and in an unkind tone of voice that they had done their best to get all the carpet in on that day and they would finish sometime the following week -- could be Tuesday, could be later in the week. The woman on the phone mentioned that I'd have to talk to so-and-so if I wanted a different answer. She then noted I couldn't talk with him until Tuesday. Thanks. The woman on the phone then called back to say that the tile person didn't have the necessary materials with him -- she implied that I should have purchased them. This was not in our agreement, so I took exception to that assertion. Two things, in addition to the delays of about a week without keeping in touch with us, I found quite annoying. First, the carpet workers put drinks all over the kitchen, spilled them on the counter, and did not clean it up. When you are selling a house, this is a problem. All the floors in the house had to be mopped because of the dirt they tracked on them. I understand it won't be 'clean clean' but please clean up after yourself? To take the cake, one of them used a toilet in our house (to poop), and it was clogged -- with feces floating around in there. Had we not said something, it would have remained so -- that would be awful if we had a showing of our house. It was also extremely rude to leave a poop clogged toilet in our house. I brought it to the worker's attention. I got an 'uh-oh' type of response, with no indication that he would take care of it. I went to a local store to buy a plunger, and got back and it had been fixed. It just struck me that the group was poorly supervised, not trained in professionalism, and the 'home store' woman who I talked with was just rude. Not the kind of people who deserve repeat (or first time) business.

Someone came to our house to do the measurements and hear about what we wanted done. Needless to say it's been about a month and a half and we still haven't heard from anyone so we found someone else.

They gave me an estimate for 800 sf of vinyl flooring. The estimate was almost $8000, and the material cost was ~ $2500. When they called with the estimate I was disappointed and felt it was too high. I was very nice on the phone, but the lady asked multiple times "well what's your budget?", as if the price being high was correlated to my ability to pay. I told her "thank you" and we moved on. I then thought it might be worth it to discuss the estimate with the owner to see if there was a way to bring down the cost, so I emailed them requesting a call back. The same lady I spoke with emailed me back and told me they didn't want our business! I had to laugh. I wonder if the owner knows his employees are sending away business? I wouldn't EVER do business with these people, and I strongly suggest everyone find ANYWHERE ELSE to get their floors.

They did an okay job installing my new vinyl flooring at first, but towards the end they started cutting corners. There were several cuts that were measured and /or cut incorrectly and instead of using one of the extra boards and recutting it, they just threw some caulking into it. Then when I pointed out some areas that I wanted fixed, the young gentleman got a real bad attitude with me and wouldn't even talk to me. Ridiculously unprofessional! The worst part is that I've sent pictures of the shotty work to Sam at Kreggers and have asked to have somebody come out and fix it, and he's completely ignoring me and won't return my phone calls.

Like many other reviews, if I could give them less than 1 star I would. We had our house carpet replaced with Kreggers a couple years before and had a few issues that could be overlooked. We decided to sell our home and needed new carpet so we contacted Kreggers to order the same carpet and my husband was going to lay it. It ended up being over $500 just for carpet and a cheap pad that they "threw together" (their words) at the last minute. The lady on the phone (Ronelda??) was extremely rude. The carpet was supposed to come in on Thursday, then Friday, then I was told verbatim "this is going to sound bad but we probably have been overlooking your order since it's not an install"... ARE YOU KIDDING?? Long story short... I didn't end up receiving the carpet until late Tuesday afternoon after 4 phone calls THAT DAY! I had 5 people take my number and inform me they would call me right back. No one ever had an answer for me or returned a phone call. This was extremely poor customer service and I will never use them again for flooring needs! No one was ever apologetic, only rude. I don't know how this business has been open for the amount of time they have. I will give my business to another local company.. this is what makes people want to NOT shop local! Over $500 for one room of carpet that wasn't installed?? And rude service, no thank you!
