Food is always good. Friday Catfish basket for $10 is great. Plenty of seating available. The issue here is the service. Super slow. Doesn't pay attention. Cannot multi task what so ever. Tell her what you want. It takes forever for her to ring it up. Right now there are 6 orders waiting to be handed out. Including mine. No one stepping up to help ring up customers, which the line is 6 deep, or hand out completed orders.

If you came here after a few beers or cocktails, food might be passable. Menu is fast casual diner food with some quick grab items like salads and burritos. The food we had was just average. Cheeseburger patty was thin, dry and overcooked, but the pickles were nice. Fries were frozen from a bag, thin and golden like McDonald's but with zero flavor. A few tables sat unbused. Line gets fairly long and orders take a while to cook. They seem to be a bit understaffed and run around hectic a bit too much, without acknowledging the next customer in line. It's too bad they don't have a proper sit-down restaurant at Newcastle Casino.

We ate there and it was gross. I couldn't eat the whole burger because it tasted bad. The fries were cold and tasteless. We asked for no tomato on the burger and there was tomato on it. We asked for a side of okra. They put it on but didn't charge us for it. Then who I assume was the manager came over and wanted us to come back and pay for it. It was $4 for a tiny cup of okra. Because of this mess up they held our food which is why I assume things were cold. The kid at the cash register was nice. However, I now feel nauseous from the nasty food.

Newcastle casino's only dining option. Fortunately, It's actually pretty good, even better than other casinos. I've tried the fried catfish platter, the catfish and shrimp platter, the chicken fried steak, homemade pot roast, the mushroom cheeseburger, and the chicken wings. So far everything has been good. They have dining service but it's very limited. In terms of fanciness, it's not as fancy as the bigger casinos.

The burgers are so good especially when they are free lol and if you have enough points on your Newcastle card you can pay with that too.

Stopped in after late night of gambling. Quick and easy ordering with a smile. Food was brought out hot and was delicious! For being the only food choice it was on point. Overall restaurant is small but nice booth seating with staff clearing tables quickly. Thank you Kitchen 44 staff!

Typically good food but man the wait time is ridiculous. I've visited this place many times over the years and it has always taken a while but it seems like it's getting worse. Tonight I ordered a simple burger...24 minutes and I got to watch people that ordered behind me come and go. Good food but the service is a major let down

First time here to claim my free hamburger. The girl behind the cou ter was very helpful. You can tell she was ready to go home though. She didn't smile much but then again the guy that ordered in front of me was trying to claim his free burger with his riverwind card and couldnt get it in his head that he was at new castle and NOT riverwind so I would have been frustrated if I was her too lol.Anyway to add fries to my free burger, it cost me .99 instead of $2 which is the original price. They give you a number to hang at your table and they bring it out to you. They have a nice dining area with seating to accommodate anyone. My food came out pretty fast. My burger was loaded with veggies and was freshly cooked. My fries were hot and fresh too. I had a great experience and would definitely come back to try other options. They have a nice size menu with much to choose from. They also have a breakfast menu that they serve only during breakfast hours which I forgot to see from when or otherwise I would have added here.

The food has always been good. Service slow today! Catfish hot and crispy. Monte Cristo excellent.

This place is a little corner in a casino. If I had known we would have gone elsewhere. The menu is drastically different than the pics online. No soups, no dinners like pot roast. Basically it is gas station food at best.
