I love this course. Its a rather short course and not overly difficult. It isn't a mind-blowing track by any means but it has it's advantages. It's quiet, well maintained, quick pace of play, affordable and the staff is friendly. Amenities aren't anything special but everything else makes up for it. I've quickly made Kingfisher my "home" course, and have a hard time choosing to golf anywhere else because I know how pleasurable my quick round will be in Kingfisher.

This is a lovely course. Quiet, affordable, friendly. Good for beginners and low handicaps alike. It is a tale of two different 9s though. Holes 1-9 (Farley, 1965) around the clubhouse are a joy - close knit, lush, tree lined, with flat, tight greens. No par 5s on this section. Holes 10-18 across the road (Davis, '90s ?) are tougher - longer, wider, no trees, more arid, with greens that are larger but undulating. The back 9 plays 300yds longer and has the two par 5s.The front 9, because of the different terrain, is super for beginners and high handicappers, or those seeking a faster round. The back 9 is longer and more of a challenge. Put together though, this really is a great, well maintained, enjoyable, affordable course to play.. (5,700yds, slope 108)Although small the shop is always well stocked, the staff friendly, and walking and playing alone are always okay. Next time you're in OKC, skip the antics and prices of the private courses and take a drive in the country - literally. The front 9 alone will make your game smile.A lovely course. Highly recommended.

Like the previous reviewer states, this golf course is just lovely! What a great excuse to jump in the car and take a drive! My hubby recommended this course as our first golf outing for the year b/c it's not too challenging and the holes are short (when I'm consistently on the green for chance for par on par-4s, you know the holes are shorter), plus they added a back nine that the hubby hadn't played before. I called ahead to reserve a tee time and and was a bit shocked to learn they don't take reservations - My hubby chuckled and explained most rural golf courses run first come-first serve and some, you're paying for all day, not 18-holes. We teed off at 10am and ended 18 holes just an hour and a half later - Hubby and I play what you may call "ready-golf", so was thrilled this course allowed for our preferred pace of play. The fairways and greens are neatly maintained, and while the clubhouse is small, it still gets the jobs done - They even had my fav beer: Michelob Ultra. Highly recommend this course!
