My husband and I are in the process of relocating to Oklahoma City, OK. We had not started working with a realtor yet, but saw an interesting listing on which Kelly Crotts was the listing realtor. This listing (MLS 379439) was posted on Trulia, and on her website. So I called her cell phone on Wednesday, July 29. No response. Called again later that night. No response. Called again on Thursday, July 30. No response. Called again that day. No response. Emailed her on July 30th. No response. In desperation, as I was trying to set up a showing, I called her office on Friday, July 31. I told them that she had not responded, and asked what I should do. The receptionist apologized, said she would try to contact Kelly herself, and have her get in touch with me. No response. I called again the next morning and spoke with someone else. She was very helpful and apologetic and told me that she would call or text Kelly again, and hoped to hear from her. She said "we don't see her in the office much". At this point, I had obviously decided that this woman was totally unprofessional and that I would NEVER work with her under any circumstances. But now it was a challenge. I just wanted to see what it would take for her to call me back. Finally, after again getting no response, I called back and asked the woman I'd talked with earlier if this was still an active listing. She checked, and it was -- so NO EXCUSE there! Finally, a receptionist called me back on Saturday morning and said that she had heard from Kelly and that Kelly needed my email info so she could email me details about the house. I pointed out that Kelly already had my email, but I provided it again. She said that Kelly was "busy working with buyers" and so couldn't call me (I guess we are chopped liver, not buyers, right???). So, unsurprisingly, I never did get an email from this realtor -- not an email, not a return phone call -- NADA. I did call her broker, JD Hadley, and he was very apologetic.Lesson learned here: Do NOT expect any level of professionalism with this realtor. Do not expect her to sell your house, since she won't return phone calls or emails to potential buyers. And of course, working with her as a buyer is impossible, because you will never meet her!As a sales professional myself, I am aghast at this realtor's behavior. I have never, in all my years of buying and selling houses, met anyone so incompetent and unprofessional. Buyers and sellers beware!!!
