Very cool atmosphere feels like I have been brought back in time. The rootbeer float was made traditionally with syrup and the soda water. The icecream itself was amazing!Sunday helped our large group and was very friendly.

The Kaiser's you remember is gone.Forgettable. Every aspect of it. "Handmade" items are clearly store bought. Wait times are absolutely ridiculous. Prices are outrageous for the portions you receive. If you're the owner and you're reading this...you should be in jail for theft of money! Don't dine here, you will regret it.

This is an adorable Oklahoma landmark well worth the visit for its historic value. So much of the place looks original which is super cool. Unfortunately, everything was extremely expensive ($9 for a strawberry float) and even though it was 3:00 pm and there were three waiters (not including the kitchen staff) it took them 15 minutes to get the ice cream ready. The waitstaff also made the interactions with customers a little weird; not just my experience but other's too.

First time eating here! I ordered a single brownie sundae with vanilla ice cream. The ice cream was very icy! Not creamy. My boyfriend ordered a black cherry shake; it tasted better than my sundae. It was really expensive and in my opinion not great.

Last night was our first trip to this joint and we were really craving ice cream. I got the vanilla bean and D got the salted caramel. I tried both and was disappointed that they tasted very similar. The vanilla bean didn't really have that real and distinct vanilla flavor that I crave. It was also disappointing that the vanilla had ice chunks in it because it clearly had been frozen, thawed, and refrozen many times. I won't be ordering ice cream from this place again. The atmosphere seemed abut chaotic. We weren't really sure where to order and while we were eating our cones we overheard several other customers ask where their orders were. It turns out that they had ordered like 15 minutes before us and had been trying to pass the time and watched as many other customers got their orders before them. They held it together better than I would've. I was glad for them when they were finally served. :) I don't want to totally trash talk this place. Apparently it originally opened in 1910 and he interior is beautiful. Many old photos and beautiful stained glass that you can't see anywhere that lacks tris kind of history. For the beautiful history I give his place 3 stars. 1 star for the flavorless ice cream though.

I wasn't familiar with the previous management so will only speak on my experience now. I've been to Kaisers twice, the first during summer and the second a couple weeks ago with my family. We made the "smart" decision of heading over on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Needless to say there was a bit of a line and crowd. With only three high chairs for kids, we had to wait until someone was done to get one for our 14 mo old, but that was fine. My husband and I ordered burgers and we got our son a chicken fingers platter. I will say they need to get a menu for children as that seems to be lacking. Judging by the price of our total bill (over $30), I assume the kid's version of an appetizer was still charged at the same price?Luckily we didn't have bad customer service. The ladies behind the counter were very busy with orders but weren't rude. I will say it was funny (not really considering I'm pregnant) to see people who came in 20 mins after us get their order first. The food was good so no complaints in that area. I decided to entertain my sweet tooth by ordering a single scoop red velvet sundae. Their menu of customizable options is pretty overwhelming, but in a good way. I thought I was being good with one scoop but boy was that thing HUGE! Very tasty.Overall, this was a fun place with some history for us to visit.

I really am not sure what the terrible reviews are for. Going to Kaiser's is fun and delicious. They have tons of things of the menu that appeal to any type of eater: chicken, salmon, burgers, salads, and tons of great sides and of course, desserts. Their ice cream and shakes are phenomenal. I have never had bad service here, and don't let the other reviews scare you into not eating here. The building is so cool and the decorations are too. The food is delicious and there are plenty of options. Prices are good too.

Rude staff with subpar food. I suggest avoiding this place as it's gone way downhill and the ladies working are extremely rude/awful. Do yourself a favor and go to a neighboring hip trendy spot

Fabulous historic ice cream parlor in heart of Midtown. Cute decor, with neon and black and white pictures on the walls. Origional soda fountain adds to the historic charm. Rotating homemade flavors are changed weekly. The red velvet ice cream tastes just like the cake and the chocolate melts in your mouth! Sundaes can have fresh brownies in the bottom and a mound of whipped cream and some delicious cherries! Don't miss this hidden gem in Oklahoma City! It's awesome!
