I will start by saying my experience with the Jewelry Closet in December of 2019 was fantastic. At that time, I had prongs replaced, as well as my wedding ring sized. Fast forward to June of 2021, I went in because I thought one of my prongs had broke. I was amazed that they said all my prongs needed to be replaced. Prior to them being replaced in December of 2019, they had not been replaced since the original purchase in 2002. I assumed they should be guaranteed, but in error, I did not keep my receipt. From the moment I entered the JC, the employee was very unwelcoming. I chalked it up to maybe she was having an off day. I explained the issue with the ring but did confirm I did not have a receipt. In error, I thought they would have a system to track repairs completed, much like other jewelry companies. I tried to remember the amount I paid, and the employee stated that ring sizing would cost more than that. Not wanting to argue, I told them I would investigate when the repair took place by looking at my bank account. I called later to let them know, and the same individual answered the phone. After that call, I decided to not leave my ring with them but would go elsewhere to have my prongs replaced. I do not need people to be overly welcoming, but I hope that companies do act like they are glad you are spending your money with them when spending hundreds of dollars. I would have gone back to Jewelry Closet knowing the reputation they had but could not get past the coldness displayed by the employee. I called back and told them not to worry about researching my receipt. Another woman who answered this call was pleasant; I informed her I would take my ring elsewhere. I had such a great experience the first time I went into Jewelry Closet that this second experience was a bit perplexing. I would have happily paid for the repairs if someone had given me an idea why prongs that were replaced 1.5 years ago were already all broken. I do not wear my ring daily, so it was surprising to me. The individual who "helped" me had no idea why I was visiting their store, but from the moment I stepped into the store, she was, in my opinion, cold and unwelcoming. Maybe she thought I was trying to get something for free and that they did not repair my ring. Again, I am trying to give this person the benefit of the doubt. My previous interactions in 2019 were welcoming, which is why I am giving them 3 stars. If I had to go off my experience in June of 2020, it would be a 2 star.

Jewelry closet's slogan is "where craftsmanship still exists" and it sums them up perfectly. I've been going to them for watch repair for years and they're the consummate professionals. As soon as I come in, they get up from doing repairs and take my watch immediately and take care of whatever it is I need. I've gotten batteries replaced, links removed, broken hands repaired and leathers straps fixed in just a matter of minutes. Depending on what I get done, it typically costs between $5-10. There's also been many a time where what I need is so minor, that they do it for free. Excellent work and customer service - this is definitely a local shop you want to put money into.

After visiting with several jewelers, we found these guys to be the most honest, efficient and reasonably priced. They did a beautiful and quick job on my engagement ring and they didn't switch out the diamonds on me! LolWe plan on using them for my wedding ring and my fiancee's wedding band. They make beautiful jewelry and are honest about everything. I feel comfortable leaving my diamonds and gold with them.

Very Unprofessional Ron he placed my wife stones 3 times in her ring and he lost more diamonds in the process then when I told the store they argued with me about my wife diamonds that they lost.I showed them proof that they was the one who lost the other stones in the repair process they got very upset with us went in the back instantly replaced the stones then told us they never wanna see us again like what I thought u repair jewelry but I guess u like to trynna steal people stones in trynna hide what some rats this company is a zero star if I could

I took 2 watches in to get batteries and when I left the store one watch would not work and the other was not set to the correct time because of hands were loose.I took them back in and to make a long story short both watches were broken .So I asked for my money back if they took the batteries out. At first the lady said yes and then she said no.This is terrible customer service!Furthermore, they don't even check their work.I will never do business With JC again.Mark parmenter215-2632

I've taken my Jewelry to Jewelry Closet for years to be repaired.They have always been fair & friendly.Unfortunately, the service has deteriorated.Recently they said they could polish a Sterling Silver Byzantine bracelet for me. When I picked it up, a small piece was broken. They didn't say anything about it, but they didn't charge me for it either, so I let it go.Since then I took a necklace chain to be repaired. The solder didn't hold & I had to take it back to be re-soldered.At the same time I took an earring to have the post soldered back on.For the re-solder of the chain & the solder of the post, they charged $40.The very rude woman who was waiting on me said it would be $80.I questioned that price & she argued & refused to let me speak to the repairman about it. I stood my ground & didn't leave. She finally admitted that she had doubled the price I owed. I paid the $40, although my copy of the ticket only showed $20, and she had added another $20 to solder back on the post.I'm done with them. That was the rudest employee that I've beenwaited on, in a very long time.
