Jenny’s Bakehouse Cafe

When I tell you I broke my ankle running to message Jenny about this chocolate peanut butter mousse cake when she posted it in March... I AM FO REAL.Saw this and immediately thought it would be perfect for my husbands birthday. AND IT WAS. Probably one of the best cakes I've ever had. Cake was moist, and the filling and frosting were the best tasting PB/chocolate mix ever. 10/10 would recommend her to ANYONE!!!

Met a friend at Jennys Bakehouse Cafe in Nicoma Park for lunch & treats yesterday and it was delicious! We both enjoyed the tasty special: Chicken & Dumplings with Chicken Salad on a Croissant. I chose Chocolate Cake for my dessert and glad I did - so moist and delectable. My friend got a Chocolate/Walnut Brownie and White Chocolate Pretzel Stick. The cafe is super clean & cozy and the staff is friendly and helpful with your selections. Several folks stopped in while we were there to pickup orders of cakes, cupcakes, etc. but there are always other mouthwatering goodies like cookies, brownies, cake pops, fudge, pies & more! My sandwich and the key lime dessert were both good. Cute place and the people working there were very friendly.

When I pulled up, the owner was sitting in her car, smoking a cigarette. Not a good way to start off my first visit. Strange atmosphere. Soap operas on the tv. Very small. Very limited selection. Prices are high. When I paid, I was prompted to tip. No!!! Your prices are high enough! And you didn't wait on me, I got it to go!!! I don't like this place. I guess the owner sits around all day smoking and watching soap operas. I wanted key lime pie in a cup. She was out of that. She said she had a strawberry cupcake. I said ok. Then she said her employee stole it. So I had to settle for a vanilla cupcake. While I was there, a man came in and asked to pick up an order for a cake. They couldn't find his order. He said he placed the order a month ago. Wow. Then, when I got home with cupcakes, one of them was in its side, and they looked like they were made by a first grader!!! I will never step foot in that place again!!! And, the parking lot is dirt, and full of pot holes!!! What a loser business!!!

The sandwiches are a must! My faves are the Italian and the Cali. Jenny's has impeccable bakery treats of all kinds and change them out to keep up variety. Customized cakes, cookie cakes and pies, cupcakes, rice krispy treats, my favorite of all, the fudge covered oreos, and a variety of unique cookies, just to name a few! Jenny is always on time for custom orders! The layout is very homey with sunflower deco and positive quotes all over. They make you feel at home with personable experience too!

This is a good little sandwich shop. I had chicken salad it was a bit plain for my liking. Hubbs had cali melt and said it was excellent. Tomato soup was fabulous. Truffles and cupcakes are really good.

This place is bomb. Had some fantastic hot ham and cheeses, a Reese's cookie, a caramel brownie, and some lemon blueberry cake. Everything was fantastic. Cute and comfortable atmosphere

The cake pops were awesome. The employees were nice. The cupcakes were good, overall the place is nice. As reviewed by the kids.
