Jake's Joint

Sadly they were closed so I didn't get to it. However the location and cool factor are pretty amazing. Daily specials and a simple menu.

Fly in here... nope. Used my airplane savings to eat here instead. I've eaten here twice for lunch . Great service and food both times. Sat inside once and out in the bar area as well. Food shows up extremely fast. I've sat in drive thru lines for longer just to order. Staff is very friendly and atmosphere can be formal and pleasant while relaxed and party like at the same time. Really hard to explain. Great place, definitely worth the trip flying in or driving.

What a GREAT experience. If you haven't flown in here yet, it's a must stop for a meal.

Very good food. Great pricing. Different special everyday and a daily sandwich. Desserts are awesome. Staff is super friendly.

Great food and service. $10 blue plate special changes everyday. The rest of the menu is small, but everything is good. Only open Monday to Friday for lunch. The sign out front says "Dinner Fri and Sat by reservation".

What a great place to stop in on your way to wherever you are going.We stopped in enroute back to our home from out west. It reminded me of many places my flights had landed in different parts of the world during my military career. You fly in grab food and drink...fly out. In this case world class service and food. I highly recommend. So much so that I am making it a stop over for refueling on longer trips out west. You can't go wrong at Jakes Joint.

First off. I had no intention of stopping here. Ended up getting weathered in on a through flight moving an aircraft. I must say that this is a first class destination. Definitely worth taking a detour. I had the fried chicken club. Very good. Nice presentation. The wait staff are lickety split prompt and courteous. You order up front and sit down. There is a self serve drink fountain. If you want dessert you just go back up front and order that. No big deal. Portions are perfect. The place is spotless and very nicely appointed. Prices are very reasonable. I ended up having a cheese cake for dessert which was delicious. Two thumbs up to Jake and the crew at Ardmore Airport!

You won't find a better place to grab lunch than Jake's Joint. Everything is home made on site and really shows.As the food is outstanding, it's only surpassed by the service. I would, recommend staying away from the deserts as they are highly addictive. Especially the key lime pie, it's the very best I've had in a long time. It maybe a little out of the way, but well worth the drive.

We enjoyed flying in and eating at Jake's Joint. The Blue Plate Special was delicious. It comes with dessert and a drink. The service is fast and nice! We will be back!

Fun atmosphere. Amazing food. Customer service is excellent. Trust me, get the German Chocolate cake, you deserve it.
