Jack's Bar-B-Q

I have been going to Jacks every time I'm in OKC since 1999. Never disappoints. Great BBQ, lots of sides to choose from. Service always good too.

The Jack's brisket was wonderful, and their special recipe fried potatoes are the best!!! I hadn't eaten there in years, but it's still great!

The bbq'd meat was delicious and they have a good variety of sides. The service of the workers was awesome! The restaurant is kept clean.

Jack's potatoes are the best. I had the ribs with them and a couple of deviled eggs. Worth the trip!

Stopped here for a to-go order to take to a nearby park to eat. Pulled pork meal was excellent! The pork was so tasty that I hardly used any of the provided sauce (which was also good). Potato salad and baked beans were also great. There was enough food that I probably could have saved some for later if I had not been on my way to Weatherford. They packed the to-go order so that it stayed nice and warm even though I got lost on my way to the park! Service was very friendly and excellent. Dining area looked nice and clean, although I did not eat there. If I am ever in OKC again, I will be sure to stop by again.

Ordered the brisket sandwich with side of Mac n cheese. The brisket was cooked well but just didn't have much flavor at all. Same goes with the Mac n cheese.

Nope. Not again. I've been educated. Ordered 1/2 Smoked Chicken Dinner with BBQ baked beans and macaroni salad. Staff was pleasant enough, but should never have served me the product the did. Beans were passable enough, macaroni salad was the least it could be and still be named as such. The chicken portion was really small to start with, but I'd estimate that I could only eat about two ounces of it. The remainder (est. 85-90%) was over cooked and desiccated to a texture more tough and dry than beef jerky. It broke off along the muscle lines and could only be separated further by hand with great difficulty. And no, this is not just how smoked chicken is. I regularly get smoked chicken that is tender, juicy and flavorful at other places in the metro. This was not just distasteful, it simply could not be eaten.

Had the ribs and brisket, both were tender and delicious. The banana pudding was especially good. Great service. I will return.

They only have good food at peak times. If you don't go at peak times for their food you will receive extremely dry and bland meats that would never satisfy anyone.

The staff is amazing and the food is just as good. Jacks potatoes for the win! I will definitely be back.
