I got the ribs with texas toast, corn muffin, fries, & fried okra; hot and bbq sauce.Wow; like an amusement park ride in my mouth.Ribs have a smokey taste, tender, meat falling off the bone. The other items are so tasty & portions are large. The sauces are also amazing.JT's did not disappoint ... maybe I shouldn't go back to LA.I ordered online. Food items packaged with care.Worth coming back to OKC for.

A true if you're not looking for it, you'll miss it place. Some coworkers suggested this place for lunch. I had the 2 meat sandwich, with green beans and water. You order and they bring your food to you. The staff was friendly, service was excellent, the green beans looked bland but were so good. The chopped brisket was ok and my chopped ribs were dry. My coworker got the chicken and it looked good so I will go back for that. I also got an amazing looking brownie to go for my husband. He said it was good. If you eat it in the restaurant they will heat it up and serve it with Ice cream. The price was good, just be mindful of the hours and days the restaurant is closed.

The side items were the best we've had so far. The okra, Mac'n'cheese, and potato salad were to die for. The ribs had no flavor and the pulled pork tasted like it was reheated. This is the first time we have tried this place so I will try it again to see maybe it was just that day.

Hidden BBQ place in Del City that most in the area know. Lunch time hours with open on Friday nights. They have the best curly fries!Usually order sliced Brisket with creamy cole slaw and baked beans. If Hungry, add hot links for a two meat sandwich. Men usually order ribs .Chili is good also in the winter. Sauce good along with sweet tea.Service is great so lots of regulars come in and are called by name. The place fills up with men so you know it's good. You order , and pay when you get in at counter. Just try to sit down before you add in one of the brownies or cobblers staring at you at the counter.I never make it! They will warm the brownie with ice cream but I usually just take as is.Clean place with a tricky front door and a warm feeling.Tell Linda I sent you !

Arrived at 1:38 and doors locked. Drove 31 minutes to get there. A lady came to the door and said BABY I'M SORRY. Terrible customer service. Will not return.

Hole in the the wall off the I-40 which is also historic Route 66. We were on our way from Tennessee to California, decided to try some OKC BBQ and was very happy with this surprise gem. Great BBQ, great service, great prices, and everything is made from scratch. I had chopped beef loaded baked potato, my husband had the two meat sandwich with Texas toast, pulled pork, and chopped beef. He also got their blackberry cobbler with ice cream. The chopped beef was so tender, smoky, delicious brisket. The hot bbq sauce actually had a kick to it, baked beans were on point, perfectly tender and savory but not too sweet, a hint of smoke and spice. Like most real BBQ places, they have limited hours so check the times and give it a try.

Great for cleaning out your bowels. Also, don't know what happened to their portion sizes, but it's was skimpy on the meat (1/2 of what I've received in the past) $$ Ive sent lots of business their way over the years, I will no longer do that.

If you are looking for a super trendy, pretentious, over priced bbq joint, this ain't it chief. JT's is a classic Oklahoma bbq joint, the kind of place that your average Okies flock to. They give you above average bbq and a pile of fries that I could barely finish all for under $10. Go try to get that deal at another place in town (you won't). You also get that small town feel here, which I appreciate, service with a smile. Now The reason I won't give it 5 stars is because it's not the best bbq I've eaten, not even top 10. The rub is not special and the sauce is pretty standard. However, I keep coming back over and over because the food is consistently good and well priced. Considering the other choices for bbq in OKC, I think JT's probably top 5.
