I've been going here for years, at first glance the gym looks fantastic, big improvements have been made, it does have plenty of weights for you to get a good days work out in, with treadmills and a boxing ring and swimming pool, the basics, also a full sized basketball + tennis court, if your looking for a quick days work out, it's a good option..but the gym as entirety does have a "old-man" smell/feel to it, the weights are often un-racked and thrown around..the swimming pool is very cold and the bath room can be the worst smelling thing on planet earth at times!!, most of the time honestly the gym is empty and lonely, or often filled with kids running around doing there basketball practice, mangers are very lazy, barley doing anything, let alone anything to help your fitness experience...Almost anyone can come an go as they please, even though the managers say they "enforce a card membership" lol..sometimes situations can get rowdy and crazy, on a good note, basketball games can be very fun, competitive at times if you catch people playing at the right time, pick up games on weekends + wednesday nights are fun, Isola Bella gym is where i grew up, it's ok..

Good free weights, excellent basketball court, pool, and boxing ring. Cardio good but not enough of it. Same for weight machines.

One or two working ellipticals out of the 4 or 5 there... Treadmills are good though. Machines are pretty filthy too. Anyone can come in, no one checks for membership. Kids running around on court at all times. Locker rooms are a joke. It's quiet and overall don't get too bothered which is nice.

This place is not nearly as nice as advertised. Most of the equipment is old. After 10 minutes on an out-dated elliptical I gave up and resorted to running on the treadmill instead. It seems like anyone can come and go as they please and a lot of people do. The pool is NOT heated and is VERY cold. The yoga/aerobics studio is filled with storage and neither yoga or aerobics is offered at all though it was advertised on their website when I decided to stay here. It's pretty quiet inside which is eerie in an athletic facility. Music and tvs would be a MAJOR plus. When reading the reviews about the Isola Bella complex the term "bait and switch" is thrown around often. It is true. They're marketing team does an exceptional job. On a positive note they are making a conscience effort to improve the place on a daily basis and these major improvements do take time, but they need to make A LOT more. Childcare would be a HUGE amenity, but first and foremost heat that pool!
