Island Sno

I was up here recently eating at Hidalgo's and saw this snow cone stand. I hadn't had dessert at dinner and thought a snow cone sounded perfect! Let me tell you it was, and when I asked for gummy bears with my kiddie size snow cone, she gave me a whole little cupful! I thought it would be just a couple at most, but they were so generous. 5 stars for that alone, and the snow cone was great too!

What can I say... a pretty decent snowball. I'm from the east coast and it's definitely not the same... Oklahoma... PLEASE...PRETTY PLEASE... start using marshmallow in your snowballs.... Alas, I digress... but the flavors were tasty and they have a drive through. CASH only folks! So start carrying some coin so you don't miss out when your in the area;-)

Not a bad little snow cone place. They don't have that many flavors and their menu is super ridiculous to follow because some of their flavors are not available anymore but isn't marked out or indicated. The prices are also a bit more expensive than the other places. What I do like about them is their ice. It's not so thin and sno-like. I like it a bit chunky and this is what they have. I tried the Westbrook flavor which is raspberry, peach, and mango and I thought it was delicious. I have a feeling they'll take it away because Westbrook is leaving OKC, so you'll have to ask for those flavors if you're interested in trying. Great place for a sweet treat!

I stumbled upon this little snowcone stand as I was driving through Edmond and I'll just say that this is my new go-to place for a perfect snowcone! The girl at the window was super sweet, the prices are fair, and the snowcone consistency was the best I think I've ever had. The only downfall is they are CASH ONLY - but I happened to have a few dollars on me thankfully. I will definitely be back for more!!
