The service here is great. They are prompt with the drink orders and attentive. I came here for a work event and we were in a private room in the back left of the buildi. It has a pretty accent wall that's great for photos. Mix got the steak tenderloin medium. When it came out it was definitely not cooked medium. More like medium well. Not much pink inside. It still tasted great but just a little tougher than I like. The sides were Brussels sprouts and carrots. They were so good. I'd eat those again. The prostate salad was also yummy and I would eat it again. It is a cold red potato salad. I didn't taste any sweetness in it like some places make it, so I really liked that. I got the unsweetened tea for my drink. It's hard to mess that up, so of course it was good.For dessert we got the double chocolate bread pudding. It was amazing.

I had my reservations with the name, somehow Urban just didn't fit my idea of a good BBQ joint but it had a lot of good reviews so in we went. I wanted to like this place, but you can't always get what you want.Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, making suggestions of which we took. Most of the waitstaff looked like they would fit in better at a feminist march than a bbq place but that isn't a problem, just an observation.Despite the retro mirror wall that looks like something from the Boogie Nights set, It's kind of neat inside, shabby chic. The tables were set really nice and I would love to have those chairs, but after that, things kind of went down hill.The meat portions were very small and the sides dwarfed them. The brisket was just okay, the burnt ends had more sticky sweet on them than a cheap Chinese sweet and sour chicken and the Brussels sprouts were bland and a bit mushed together with the carrots and oddly tasted fishy to me.The sweet potato's were pretty good and the bread pudding, which our waiter surprised us with since it was our first visit, was absolutely delicious. It appears they are trying to break the mold of the classic BBQ restaurant, but they took out the part that everyone loves. I didn't hate the place, but it didn't leave me wanting to come back, ever!

I'm not sure if it was just an off night or what! I wasn't blown away by my experience. The service was pretty lackluster and my salad was made kinda sloppy. It was dressing and pieces of cheese and such all over the brim of the bowl. Almost like someone just threw the stuff in there. The food was decent but definitely not the level of Iron Star I am used to.

While in OKC my wife was craving some BBQ. This is one of the rare instances where YELP reviews have let me down. This appeared as a highly rated spot but the food is just...ok. The smoked turkey was soft, but dry. The pulled pork was ok. The brisket was ok. All of the meats were just warm , but not hot. My wife's ribs were also just ok. Now on to the good. The corn bread was phenomenal! Like I could have eaten 8 of them and been happy. Its soft, warm, with a nice little crunchy outer later. Oh my god! Heaven!The mac and cheese was delicious! The customer service was exceptional. Our waitress found out it was our first time and brought us free deviled eggs and helped us navigate the menu! Great service!Maybe it was because it was new years day and it was super dead. Who knows, but after talking to our uber driver, we found clark crew bbq , with amazingggg food and just as great customer service. Definitely not a place I would return.

Live little BBQ joint. Service was fast and friendly. Started with the corn bread which was really good. Jalapeños gave it a nice zing. Had the combo with pulled pork and burnt ends. The pork was Luke warm. Had to ask for BBQ sauce, as it was needed. A bit surprised they only had one. The burnt ends were to die for, however, several were all fat and no meat. Yuck. Had the chocolate bread pudding and fried peach pie for dessert. The bread pudding was expertly done, though I'm not a fan of the chocolate in it. The peach pie was like something you get from McDonalds. Not impressed.

What's not to love?! Always have great drinks. Tonight had their old fashion. Food consistently hits the spot! Ask for a side of jalepeno when getting the Mac and cheese. It's amazing!! All of the sides are yummy! The corn bread can't be missed. Order it all and take rhetorical leftovers home!

If you're looking for mouthwatering BBQ, this spot is it! The ribs are so tender they fall off the bone, packed with smoky goodness. The mac n' cheese is perfectly creamy and full of flavor--comfort food at its finest. Don't skip the banana pudding; it's a sweet, satisfying finish. Plus, the staff is genuinely kind and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere. Waitresses were all kind, and attentive. Bathrooms were clean. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the side dishes were good. The steak was a little overcooked, but even at that not too tough. The bread pudding was delicious. I would return for the bread pudding.

Our server (Alex I think) was fabulous. The deviled eggs were average, nothing special, the pimento cheese was tasty. The meat on the meat and cheese board wasn't as tender as one would expect. It certainly wasn't the fall apart type. My house salad was good. The Mac and cheese was powdery tasting. The green beans were bland. The fried okra was very corn mealy which isn't my favorite. It's a large space and we were sat next to another large group so it was extra loud.

Went for happy hour, 3-6pm today, and had a wonderful time! Cora was our server, and she treated us so well and was so fast despite being super busy. Had the fried chicken sandwich, and for $5 during happy hour was an absolute steal! Also had some queso, not pictured, but was so good! I didn't get a drink, but my friend got the pomegranate margarita and loved it! The prices were also amazing! Everything on happy hour was $5, even the drinks. I would definitely recommend this place, it has beautiful rustic vibe and the servers are all so kind.
