Indigo

Okay well where to start!!! We moved in to an upstairs apartment being told when a downstairs unit becomes available we can move to that! NEVER HAPPENED! It took almost 2 years after they changed mailbox's that we finally had a new key to the new mailboxes! There's always a problem with something! The toilet wouldn't stop using water so it stayed running! We're going on 3 years here and it's been just too much! We pay basically 1300$ for a 2 bed 1 bath apartment id like to hear what someone else pays bcuz I've heard different prices and the lease we signed was 1,056 then 1,076 then 1,162 now it's around 1,300$!!!!Now we have an infestation of gnats and I'm a clean freak so theirs no reason they should be here!! The security guard needs to just do his job and make sure nobodies getting robbed or cars broken into but instead he's worried about cars with out of date tags he has them towed which is ridiculous! The lights in front of our apartment has been off for a while you literally can't see who's at your door that's not safe at all! This use to be the highlands and I was robbed back in the day by two individuals who got in my car with guns to my head! Called the police but nothing happened! There's shootings every other night and just not a safe place especially for what they charge! Feel like we're stuck here!!! Those are gnats in the picture and theirs still a lot more!! The lease agreement doesn't make sense on a few month like why is the 2 month lease better than other longer

I am updating my review on this space. Things were very rocky indeed, however, after a few conversations and additional efforts I can openly admit that Indigo has honored my request to transfer to a vacant unit. As everyone may know, times are pretty challenging and if I could've just up and left I would have. Unfortunately, I was not in the current position to just make a move to another complex. I am grateful for this transition as I am about a week into my new space and feeling much more comfortable. This is not a bad space to live in compared to what it used to be (The Highlands). Yes, there is an issue with pests, BUT Indigo will do there best to handle the situation as they know how. I do wish the situation was handled much sooner per my original request but I am glad we finally reached a mutual agreement and worked things out. Thank you Indigo staff.

If you want to have water DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! They have shut the water off at least 1-2 times every month for the last 8 months due to "emergencies". The some of the staff and maintenance is great don't get me wrong but some are real assholes. Just know you will not have basic necessities like water half the time, the pool is shut down 90% of the time, gym is missing weights for months and some things have been broken for months with no sign of getting fixed as well as they say its a gated community but the gate has not worked in 1 1/2 years and to just add to it they done even change the air filters and I have to go by my own and replace it. We are so over this place:(

I have lived here for over a year, the maintenance takes over a week for any issue no matter how small or urgent. They do not pick up the phones. I have to physically show up in office to get anything accomplished. Overall bad management and no accountability. I tried to call them three times today during normal business hours and they just don't pick up won't call back simply don't care.

Indigo is a great place to live if you are looking at apartments in the area. I have lived here for over two years and my wife and I love the location. It is right by a bunch of great restaurants and fun things to do; Gordan Ramsey's restaurant, Dave's Hot Chicken, and Crumble Cookie to name a few of our favorites! Its about 15-20 minutes to get to downtown Oklahoma City or Edmond for a night out. The community is gated and has security at night so it feels safe. We have met many of our neighbors at the community events they have twice a month. Normally there is a breakfast event each month, with food from places like Torchy's Tacos, IHop, or a donut shop, and also some sort of seasonal event. They have two pools, a dog park, and it looks like they are adding recreational courts on the South side of the property. The management and leasing team are extremely helpful, friendly, and professional.

Worst place I have ever lived. To start out we found a dead mouse when we moved in. Should have known from that how it would be living there. We had to end our lease early due to constant harassment by management AND our neighbor. Maintenance took forever to do anything. Out washer broke 3 times and we only lived there for 4.5 months. Oh and when you move out, don't expect to ever see the money they tell you they owe you back for the rest of rent or security deposit because we still haven't seen a penny of that.

I put in a maintenance request over a month ago for an infestation of gnats and nobody has come by to do anything about it. This is a recurring problem because maintenance will just mark the request as complete and not do it. Image attached.

*UPDATEAnother week has passed without receiving any assistance. I've sent emails and called numerous times, yet nothing has need done to fix the issueTHIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!

I've had a great experience living at the indigo apartments. All concerns I've had have always been addressed in a timely fashion. The office staff are VERY helpful and kind with any concern or question. The apartments themself are very nice, have never had a noise concern or complaint. The only suggestion I would make to the owners is to use better materials for hard flooring (it's one big piece of laminate flooring) which makes it hard to replace or fix if any issues happen, and add light fixtures in the living room and bedroom. (There's no lights, bring some lamps). They've made lots of progress during my stay like covered parking, an updated mailing area. And never had an issue with theft with packages being left at my door, sometimes all day while I'm away at work. Overall weinder has done an amazing job transforming the community at indigo. I would recommend to anyone looking into moving here.

well where to begin tbh this place is still the highlands I was robbed at gunpoint years ago! cops are here all the time like whole swat teams one dude that idk if he even stays here would walk around with an ar-15 and I had encountered him at night truly had me fearing for my life thank god nothing happened but it very easily could've! its overpriced for what you get and when you sign a lease the prices don't even make sense and it's false advertisement!!! we pay a different price every month for rent and it's always in the 1250$ range! they want you to make 3 times the rent well I hate to say but what jobs around here are paying people that kind of money because i sure would like to know! we signed a 12 month lease and it says 1,151+ 11$ (other charges) that's what it says but what are these other charges then the water bill gets up there for no reason knowing we didn't use much water but can't do anything about it bcuz they have the wrong attitude and that's " if you don't like it move" which is what I was told when asked about the up charges! then a two month lease is cheaper than a 3-6 months lease which doesn't make any sense once again no explanation! the apartment wasn't even that clean when we moved in but I clean like crazy so this place will be cleaner than when we moved in but they want us to give them a 2 month notice when we if we don't plan on staying here and signing a new lease which is also just crazy rent started at $1,056 went to $1,152 now it's around 1270$ that's what it was this month! DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT YOU SEE IT LOOKS GOOD BUT ITS FAR FROM IT! ITS STILL THE GHETTO! cars getting broken into all the time!!!!!RENTERS BEWARE!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS ITS A LAST RESORT! They're quick to charge you a hundred dollars a day if your late on the rent no matter if youve been on time for 2 years and it's the first time no leniency here they barely accepted us because they want three times the rent which at first was 1,056 X 3= 3,168 and we were about 30$ short but they gave us a chance so they say!!! the security guard goes around and looks for expired tags and has them towed overall the absolute worst place to live if you have a choice long story short we don't but we will be leaving no matter what when our new lease is up And tbh truly can't wait! I wouldn't even give this place 1 star the only thing they have going for them is the location it's being built up every day something new pops up but they'll lie to you and tell you whatever you wanna hear they made my 80 year old grandmother have to walk up the stairs but they told her she would be moved to a downstairs unit when one opens up which was supposedly in two months well it's been going on along with all the other problems since July 27th 2021! Biggest mistake was moving to Indigo apartments so please save yourself from having to go through hell and back and pay an out amount of money for rent then turn around asap!!!!! 0/0 stars!!!!
