Hotel Glenpool

Nice little hotel. Like many of the other reviews on Hotels.com say this is a no frills hotel. Small but clean and very good price. Staff is friendly and helped correct an error real quick. Also a continental breakfast is included that is not listed on the website. Room has a fridge and microwave. I like that it is off a side road that really leads to nothing but this hotel and the hotel next door. Cuts down on the ability to have people come through blended in to other traffic and to be able to try to break into your vehicle overnight. Only complaint is there were 3 people booked in our room; me and my two 15 year old girls. They only allowed 2 towels without having to go through a little exchange with the front desk to get more. I understand theft of towels is probably a huge issue with a hotel but they have a $150 hold on your card for incidentals so they could allow, at a bare minimum, a towel for each guest. I would stay here again.

These people are terrible! They charged my card when I had not made any reservation. When we called and questioned them about it, they swear that I called and made the reservation earlier that day. They ended up giving out the phone number of another guest with a similar name. I had to call the guest to get things figured out. There are lots of bugs all over the place inside and out. They overcharge and refuse to give weekly rates so that they can get maximum profit. The breakfast is some juice and maybe a muffin or apple if you're lucky. There are much better places to stay, like the hotel next door, if you're looking for something decent in this price range. Housekeeping is shady, they have teens working at the front desk, and are stingy with their soap, giving us one bar for two adults per day.

This is the worst hotel I've ever been to not only did they charge me 15 dollars for a face towel that I washed my makeup off with they also charged me for my registered service animal / emotional support that has a service number .. Also claimed the alarm went off came into my room twice and climbed on my bed barefoot to take pics of the alarm .. it had black mold in the bathroom and wasn't worth the 101.00 it cost to book thru Priceline let alone the deposit of 150 and charges that were beyond trivial .. never before have I been to such a hole in the wall motel that was ran by dishonest thieves that make up charges and find excuses to not refund deposits

The night front desk worker of this hotel was incredibly rude and not helpful for us when we checked in. He was condescending and treated us with disrespect when we asked questions about the checkin process. Because of poor customer service, the stay was not worth our time or money.

When opened they had decent service at a reasonable price. Other hotels are also using COVID as an excuse to cheap out on breakfast, pig gravy over biscuit rather than scrambled eggs and sausage or installing a waffle maker. TV did not work the 5 rays I was there though the kid at the desk said he "fixed it" several times. Not even a "Do Not Disturb" tag for the door so of course the maid chose to knock while I was using the bathroom. Pay a little more, there are excellent places including next door. I won't be back.

Exactly what a simple traveler like me wants. A nicely equipped clean room, comfortably firm bed and pillows, amenities that work for a reasonable price.
