Hoppin Jalapeno

Came out here with family to meet the Family!Started with drinks (soft) and some Home made tortilla chips and Salsa...We were also given queso (to die for!). Rich and creamy!!Informed the waitress that i was plant based but do eat fish and they came up with a special creation made just for me!Rice and Beans with grilled veggies topped with a grilled Tilapia! I was also given 3 Home made flour tortillas! So soft and delicious!The family ordered Victor Special, grilled chicken salad and Carnitas! The decor on the wall and items hanging from the ceiling are beautifully displayed-while dining in you wouldn't think that this place is in Snyder, Oklahoma - Authentic Mexican food!

Camping at Great Plains State Park and decided to go find a local place for lunch. Sat outside to enjoy the sunshine and delicious Tex-Mex! Chorizo with queso and sloppy beers did not disappoint!

If you are ever in Snyder, Ok. you have to stop and eat at Hoppin Jalapeño Restaurant. It's such a nice Mexican restaurant in this small town. We started Chili con Queso with Chorizo which was great and I'm very picky about my queso. For our entrées I had Beef Chili Rojo, mom had enchiladas, and dad had a create you own combo with a tamale, enchilada, and chili relleno it was all excellent!!! To top it off we shared a fried ice cream so good.

Food was so good! I loved every bite and wish I could have eaten more. I got a special with peppers, onions, mushrooms and queso with chicken and shrimp. Everything was so well flavored I ate way too much!

Nice warm chips, nice texture. Offered limes or lemons with my water that's better than most places. Taco salad was good. Taco bowl was fresh and crispy. They had Thousand Island that I like with TS. Nice place.

Suprisingly this is not only just a Mexican restaurant, they have some other foods too. Maybe this is because not many restaurants in town. All foods are very good. I really enjoyed the grilled fish they made, and ordered the same thing the second time. Next time I am going to order the fish again.

We loved our meal, 4 of us all had different menu items and all of it was great food. The salsa has a different flavor but I have nothing negative to say about this place.

this place is good but I'm pretty sure I was charged a tourism fee??? if that is what I was charged probably should be letting ppl know that we are getting charged like that

Terrible service with very unscrupulous business tactics. Went ther today with my wife , my daughter, 2 three year olds and a baby in a stroller. They added a service charge of 18 percent and didn't even tell me, so I left an additional tip not knowing. When I went back in and questioned it, the 2 ladies were very smug about it and said they would give my tip back. I said don't bother because it would be the last one they'd get from me. The food was pretty good but again the service was terrible. Won't go there again!

This is an awful place to eat! Let's start with the paper thin greasy chips, then onto the marinara salads they tried to pass off! The only hot sauce they had was some habanero sauce that wasn't even that hot. We order 3 kids taco pizza, tortillas with rice beans cheese and a little meat! The fajitas, beef was way over cooked and you could barely make out the peppers and onions they were so over cooked! The rice was also over cooked and had way too much cumin. The refried beans were over fried and clumpy as well. We were going to take two orders of fajitas home so we told the waitress when we ordered we would let her know. Often we got out order and the food was gross we told her we would NOT be ordering to go orders. She left and another waitress came over and told us the order was already cooking. We informed her what we had told the waitress, that we were going to let her know when we were ready to order takeout we had not ordered it. She said she would have to talk to her manager. No one can with the bill so we got up and went to the counter to pay. They called the manager and the total for 3 kids and two adults was $78! We asked for what and low and behold they tried to charge us for the take out! NOT they still over charged us. We paid $58 for real shitty food!!!! Don't go there!!!
