You probably won't see a lot of this local grocery around anymore since the invasion of Walmart, but I have to say you can find some random kitchen utensils here such as nutcracker. It was not cheap but if you're in dire need of one, they have them. They also have ribs, hot and ready which I don't often see at other markets. In general, their products look good. The produces are fresh and the stocking of the products are impeccable. Service can be friendlier, depending on the locations. It still has that local vibe.

The customer "service" at this location is atrocious -- rude, disrespectful young men with no clue how about personal interaction. There are plenty of other choices in Norman. Won't be back.

I have shopped at this Homeland for over two decades. The manager is often in the store working and keeps things in stock that regular customers ask for. Even on Sundays there is at least one butcher present, a produce manager, and a Deli manager. It's clean and friendly. Although recently the addition of self-check stations has reduced the number of checkers on staff (and made the lines a little longer) they still provide good, old-fashioned service -- roll your cart up to the register and they check and bag things for you. And if you don't already know this, they have some of the best fried chicken in town. I drive right past the Colonel to get my fried chicken at this Homeland. And they have a nice selection of cut flowers if you need them.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. We love the sales and also the variety. We found mild enchilada sauce. We just went home and didn't finish our shopping.

I live nearby and shop at this homeland frequently. Just tried to stop in tonight and they were closing up 35 min before midnight (the posted close time online). Locked the doors as I was walking up. Not good business to close up shop early if you have publicly posted hours.

This Homeland is average, but not nearly as nice as its counterpart on the corner of Robinson and 24th. To begin, the space is in need of a significant face lift. The store looks shabby, not necessarily unclean in my estimation, but certainly worn down. Maybe just polishing the floors would do the job, i don't know. But, it doesn't instill confidence in the location to see it in this shape. The produce department, while offering fresh choices, is significantly smaller than the Robinson location. Additionally, the cheese counter, which is one of the strengths of the Robinson location, is lacking (essentially non-existent) at the Lindsey location. I do not know if the Lindsey location offers dry aged beef, but I do know the meat market is not as large. The Lindsey location has a First Fidelity Bank and a nice florist if you are looking to run more than one errand at once. Again, not to beat a dead horse, the Robinson location has a better florist. The deli, including the hot food offerings, seems to be more on par with what is available at the Robinson location.I have only had good experiences with employees at the Lindsey Homeland. No issues there. This location could definitely use at least a coat of paint, but I imagine the street work on Lindsey has hurt the bottom line (as it has for many businesses on Lindsey) to the point that any significant cosmetic work may not be financially feasible. Hopefully once the construction is over traffic picks up at the store, because it is in a good location and certainly has potential.

Homeland is great! The lines at the one open register can be frustratingly long, but you can reserve it by simply placing one item there and asking the clerk to wait while you shop! No matter the inconvenience it causes anyone else, your clerk/owner will be loyal to only you, and when you return that line will be six people deep but you can just cut right to the front and get on about your day. So convenient. Five stars! (Unless you're the poor idiot who is next in line with ONE item in a terrible rush - that's just poor planning on their part, I think). Great job, Homeland! I do this EVERY TIME and you never disappoint ME.

This location is at a disadvantage because it is one of the smaller, old style stores. But it is still worth shopping at. They do have a better Dollar Isle than their two bigger siblings in town. They have a full service deli, but not full service meat dept. Limited frozen seafood, yuck. Fair produce dept. Another reviewer said the employees are mostly unfriendly. I've only encountered a couple of snooty young female cashiers. Everyone else is very helpful and ask if you're finding everything OK. I shop here when I'm not in the mood for a large store setting.

I feel that this Homeland location on W Lindsey isn't going to be around much longer. Going down hill steadily. Packaged cold cuts cooler full of meats that are over a week EXPIRED. Be vigilant and check the dates on every single thing you buy from here unless your a fan of ptomaine sandwiches. There's just NO excuse for outdated products being offered for sale. Somebody's gonna get sick. DANGEROUS!

The staff at this Homeland is customer friendly. I like the meat department and Butcher. They always stock what I have asked for and for special cuts or requests they do a nice job , it is fresh & good quality. I also think their produce department has a pretty good selection and quality , & the staff does a nice job.
