This Homeland is always clean and shelves well stocked. Nice supply of organic produce. The deli is always busy serving fresh rotisserie chicken, fried chicken and deli meats and cheese. They have customer service check out and self check out for convenience.

Ok so this review is for the store at May & 164th for what it's worth! My oldest and I went to get some meat sliced for beef jerky making and boy did they knock it out of the park! Whomever runs the butcher section needs a raise, why you ask? Because they were upfront and genuine and super polite. They treated me and my son like family in a way. They said jokingly that they had a policy that i had to bring some back hahaha, heck ya i will. Honestly a great overall experience, even the self check out lady was over the top nice ! Definitely going back here for our families groceries!

This is a nice sized grocery store. If you haven't been in there it's like a puzzle trying to figure out where everything is. I caught a hard time but got help from employees on where to find different things. Some items weren't in the aisle where they were supposed to be and on different other aisles. That reminds me of Kroger sometimes. Nice clean store and friendly employees.

This homeland is weird. Where's all the produce? Most of the fruit available was pre-sliced, which doesn't really work for me. The new layout is also super weird. I know they all had to do a lot of reworking when the new liquor laws went into effect, but I still think they could have done better. They also do so many weird things. Like, why place all your budget brand stuff at eye level (like in the chips section) and then make me hunt for the good stuff? Or why not have any just regular pita chips. The only option I could find was like pita chips made from jicama or something. That might make sense at a fancier store, but fancy she aint. I also had the weirdest experience ever at the deli, where they would barely speak to me. As a result, I got a pound the thickest ham I've ever seen. I kept it, and was nice about it (because at my house it will get eaten by children no matter what), but then asked for another pound, very thinly sliced. The second pound was still super thick, but whatever. Maybe it takes too long to do it the way I asking for. Then, when I asked for cheese, I had to send two rounds back for being variations on pepper jack when I asked for Colby Jack. They acted put out with me, but my kids will not eat spicy cheese. I was trying to be so nice about it, but to acknowledge their mistake, they would have had to speak to me, so whatever. I think if they're not going to speak to you, they should have a card you fill out, mark what you want, use a sign to tell us how to define the thickness we want, and then I pick it all up when it is done. Instead, I stood there for 30 minutes, feeling like I was speaking another language. I won't be back if I can help it.

It's so refreshing walking in here. It has a welcome home feeling. I was sooo happy to see the selection of flavors in KIND bars they had and also in RX bars! They seemed to have enough cashiers for check out lines and 4 self check outs.

Pretty typical grocery store. Their prices are a little high, but I can usually find all I need there. Staff is typically friendly and they've usually got a decent amount of checkers when I've been. They do have self checkout if you're in a hurry. Parking lot also has a Homeland gas station at this location.

I have frequented this store for years. Based mostly on great service I received in the past as their prices are generally not competitive. That service has gone way down hill. The prices have not. Recently I requested they make an exception for me on a check I wanted to have cashed. Although store policy would not normally be to cash this check, they had done so for me on two prior occasions. This is why I went there this time. Them saying no was not the problem so much as the condescending and impatient way it was done. I no longer have a reason for loyalty to this business. The people who have been so friendly in the past are all gone. And most of the ones left appear annoyed to have to do their job. I can get that down the street and pay a lot less for my groceries. No brainer.

This is pretty much your average Homeland store. It's the closest grocery store to me so I stop when I have a small list, I'm feeling lazy or if I need a specialty item. They have an incredible selection, it's the only place I've ever found a few cheeses and falafel mix! It's too expensive for me to do all of my grocery shopping here, but it's on my route.I have a homeland card, but I almost always forget it. They let you look it up by phone number and it always tells me it's invalid, then it works any way. This has been going on for about three years now, yet they always argue with me telling me it doesn't recognize my phone number. I'd love for them to fix that issue and offer a few more deals and I may shop more often!

Such a nice store! Especially the cheese & fruit counter. It's fun to shop there & visit with Carolyn & the rest of the staff. Also like that the store is clean & well stocked. They must have a good Manager!

The last 2 weeks I have had to self checkout because there were no cashiers. I normally go Thursday mornings around 730 or 8. I typically buy quite a lot of groceries each week. I don't mind self check for a few items, but when I have a basketful it is very challenging. The machine squawks constantly, you have to take one item at a time to scan, and the place where the bags are isn't big enough for a whole cart of groceries. It squawks when you remove a bag and put it in the basket. All the while you are hoping you get everything scanned. The employee working the self checkout is totally uninterested in helping you. Bought some beer and wine and he was off visiting with another employee, took a couple of minutes before he noticed I needed him. If I had seen the manager on my way out, I would have told him I was never coming back. Will go the Homeland at May and Britton. Oh and when I took my groceries to my car, there were 2 potatoes that I missed. Did you think I took them back? NO
