Coming all the way down from Wyoming and Montana, the guys at Hog Wild showed a great time and run an awesome operation. The lodge is well stocked with all of essentials for making meals, relaxing, hanging out with friends, and getting some rest between hunts. Our guide, Colton, was top notch and put us on hogs consistently throughout the day. Definitely an awesome experience!

ABSOLUTE BLAST!My friend Jeff and I came to OK from WY to hunt hogs and had a great time here. He is a gun hunter and I am a psycho about bow hunting. The lodge is glitz and the property is a wonderland with hogs EVERYWHERE!! Friendly helpful staff and guides that will make your stay unforgettable! I easily saw way over 100 hogs a day, EASILY! I am definitely going back and HIGHLY recommend this place, this staff, and this adventure with 5 stars!

Ok. So this will be coming from the perspective of a non-hunter who came with a group of friends. The lodge itself was really nice! Super spacious, great amenities too! Honestly we over packed thinking there wouldn't be towels, kitchen condiments, pans, coffee, etc. Which leads me into an issue that they could easily fix... LIST ALL THE GREAT AMENITIES! It'd be SO easy for them to just take 10 minutes out of their day to list things out on their website. This would cause less over or under packing for lodgers. Also there was no rules or guidelines for staying there. I feel this could hurt them in the long run if people rage and party/make messes. Our group was respectful but I wouldn't count on everyone being that way. Also this is NOT family friendly. I turned on the TV and there was 20 p*rn channels with super graphic titles. Any child who could read would be reading super disgusting words. Next, I'll go on to discuss the hunting. Even though I didn't personally hunt, my husband and close friends did. My husband had a good experience, shot and killed his hog on the first morning. The rest of the group didn't catch one in the morning and was taken to do a "walk and stalk"... WALK and STALK. But no. It was not a walk. It was "hop in a golf cart and shoot em' while they're sleeping!" What fun is that??? The whole fun of hunting is the HUNT. Not shooting sleeping targets... seems also cruel to do it while they're asleep. Not only that, but the guides pressured some of my friends to take shots that weren't kill shots. Even after a friend said "but I can't see it's head it won't kill him". The guide told her to shoot anyways. Ending up with an injured hog running off, unable to be taken out of its misery. And of course that counted as her hog that she paid for. Seems like they just wanted to rush them and get their day over with... I still had fun with my friends and enjoyed the lodge. Just think some things could be improved.

The term shooting fish in a barrel comes to mind. The facility is 140 acres of fenced hunting preserve with hogs and exotic animals trapped inside a 10' tall fence. They offer exotic animals hunts but most of the customers are coming for the hogs. They have ten feeders with top of the line Red Neck hunting stands that you get dropped off at before sun up and in the evening. They offer a one or two hog hunt. Four of us drive down from Des Moines me and one of the other guys have little experience in hunting and two of the guys were highly experienced. We brought a range of guns and one bow. I would recommend at least a 300 Blackout. Most of the shots are in the 30 yards range. After you shoot your hog you text our call Mike, or guide, and he jumps on the Ranger and comes to your stand. In my case I dropped my hog under the feeder with a well placed head shot. One of the other guys in our group took two hogs with his bow shortly after I shot mine so after Mike got mine loaded we headed over to our pointy stick guy and tracked the ones he shot. Mike even went to the extent of posing the hogs so we could get some pictures of our trophies. Mike you are the man. Now the reason for the for star rating. First of the lodge is nice but they are still building it. Where we were sleeping we had no power. Not a huge deal, but for the money we payed it would have been nice to have lights and a place to charge our phones near the beds. The lodge is nicely equipped with a full kitchen, grill two showers, soon to be fire pit, 70" TV and pool table to kill time between hunts. The negative is the manager Matt. Zero personality. Mike our guide took care of us while Matt was busy welding steel in the addition. Two of us wanted to do a Spot and Stalk but Matt was too busy welding to bother with taking us out while Mike took two of the other guys. We paid $40 each for a skinning fee. We got the hogs home to find maggots in every hog. After spending close to $500 to shoot one hog with no extras I'm going somewhere different next time.

There were four of us in our party and we all had success. The lodge is really cool with a lot of hanging mounts, full kitchen, 22 beds, pool table, poker table, darts, huge couches and TVs, hot tub grill. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend to anyone.
