Great burgers and fries! Will definitely stop again when going through the area! Friendly and fast service.

We love local dives and this one did not disappoint! On our way to Colorado taking the scenic route, we saw this little red barn on line. Hubby had the meatloaf special and everything was delicious from the real mashed potatoes to the carrot cake that cake that came with it. I had the Philly cheesecake sandwich that was juicy and flavorful. The cafe is very small inside and not much to look at in the way of decor, but the service is friendly, prices are great, and it's clean. Win, win!

Mandy makes the BEST Taco salads ever. We will never have another at Taco Mayo as long as Mandy makes them.They have excellent food of all sorts and great cheeseburgers,okra and fries.Breakfast of any kind is to die for but we love their Mess.Kickass tiny place in middle of nowhere to eat. Oakwood, Oklahoma is literally a blink in the road down Hwy 270. There's not much here but a skating rink in the old school gym. We recently heard that the old Hilltop Tavern has a new owner that has renovated it into the Hilltop Cafe and what a hidden gem this is! Mandy Sherwood is the new owner and not only does she cook the best food, but she also comes out and visits with her customers. Even while the phone's ringing for take-out or someone's ordering Facebook, this very busy lady seems to handle all of it with such ease. The place has a cozy, down home casual feel atmosphere. Mandy's niece, Cheyenne, was the waitress working when we came in with our party of 5. She was excellent getting our orders, filling drinks and being so attentive to our table. We had to try the pie after our meal... delicious!! I did notice that they have highchairs for small children and gift certificates available up by the register. This is definitely THE STOP to make if you're ever in this area!! Great job Mandy!!

I don't have the opportunity to eat there as often as I would like...but I love their BLT.. .delish.
