Decent drinks, but overwhelming smoke.A fair choice for drinks, as they are reasonably priced and generous on the pour. Service is very friendly with a smile. The atmosphere is fairly laid back. A bar in the middle with roomy booths at the back end for dining or conversation. The music is varied and audible, but not too loud.Smoking is allowed here and it's excessive to the point where it's borderline unbearable. Even far away from the bar and most other patrons, the smoke smell was so strong that we came home to clothes that wreaked heavily of smoke. The bar area was shrouded by a hazy cloud of smoke, so I'd stay clear of there, unless you are unphased by smoking.

Great happy hour, $1.00 beer. Fast friendly service, they do allow smoking, so that always cuts my happy hour short. A convent pub to meet up with friends.

Terrible visit this past weekend. Having visited other locations, I was deeply disappointed. Sat down with some friends and ordered 2 beers, since it was happy hour, and irish nachos. My friends ordered the drink special. Drinks areived fairly quickly. My friends then ordered food. Not long after, they received their food. No big deal, I thought. More time passes and I ask my waitress to check on my irish nachos. "Irish nachos?", she said in a confused manner. "Yes", I say. "I ordered them when I ordered my beers." "Oh, yes. Right.", she says. 20 minutes later I finally get my food. I waited 45 minutes for soggy chips drowned in coagulated cheese that wasn't even hot. Did she apologize for the wait? No. Did she admit she forgot my food order? No. Did I get charged full price? Yes. I then ask for some limes for my beer and a glass of water. One of my table mates also asked for a water. The waitress comes back with 1 water. Again, I ask for limes and a water. "Oh, right!", she says. She comes back with my water and a glass of limes after another 7-10 minute wait.It was a Friday night, but the place wasn't even busy. The problem was that my waitress was so busy standing at the tables of men talking that she was not fully involved at our table. Honestly, I don't think I will return to this location even though it's the closest to my home. Terrible service.

Being hungry after 11 p.m. in OKC = Severely limited options. You can get something from McDonald's, or you can get a really cheap colon cleanse from Taco Bell's value menu. Neither option is appealing. So then the decision is: (1) be hungry, or (2) smell like smoke and not be hungry. Hunger won. My clothes went into the washer as soon as I got home. The 4-stars is just for the food. When you're wanting greasy, unhealthy, delicious bar food, HH seems to have it figured out. I got a burger. It had jalapenos on it (other than that, it had all of the normal fixin's). The burger was freaking delicious. I can't be completely sure if hunger was clouding my judgment, but I devoured that burger, and each bite was amazing. I'm wondering how much better it would have tasted if the cigarette smoke wasn't competing for my taste buds. The fries had that double-fried quality to them. They were potato sticks of deliciousness. The burger and fries came to $6.99 or something. It would have been cheaper if I had gotten the standard burger.Certainly the smoke isn't as bad as I remember in the past, but it was also really quiet on a Thursday night / Friday morning around 12 a.m. so maybe that's why? I wonder if smokers are no longer aware of how bad their habit smells, or if they just don't care? There's no judgment, just curiosity... The food is good enough for me to possibly overlook the occasional second-hand exposure. P.S. Part of the 4-stars is also for the brilliant music selection from the jukebox. The patrons of HH know good music. P.P.S. It's a great place to watch the NBA Finals. Especially now that the Thunder is out, you can expect it to be quieter.

The country fried steak was amazing! The location was right in the middle of downtown OKC and an easy walk to the other bars and eateries. Great selection of bourbon and beers at reasonable prices. The wait staff was pleasant and very engaged.

I've been coming to Henry Hudson's for a couple of years now. We've tried their locations on Memorial & Hefner Rd- but the service & atmosphere at the location on 58th street outshined them all. If you're not a smoker- you probably won't like it here. That's all there is to it. The food is always amazing & the deals on drinks will save you money on a good night out. Ask for Brittney. You won't regret it.

Stopped in for a cold drink and nachos and fried pickles when meeting up with a friend one afternoon. Very casual, laid back, friendly atmosphere. Not the fancy tourist eating venue, if that's what you are looking for. Good for meeting up with friends for a drink or two! Wasn't too crowded, but this was mid day. Could be different in the evening/night.

I've only been here once and it was for drinks, so I may have to review again if I ever go back for food. It has the typical bar feel but it was very loud and hard to hear the people around me talk. I will say that our server was wonderful!! We had a larger party and she handled it like a pro. The experience for me was very average, not great but not terrible.

Saw a couple of people get kicked out of the bar tonight while doing karaoke. It seemed unreasonable as they were the only people actually doing it and trying to get the rest of the bar involved. I left pretty quick after that to go elsewhere. Service was slow, drinks were poured weak, and the food was mediocre at best.

I saw this on the menu today. However a "Hudsons Playbox" is an Edna's Lunchbox. This is an iconic drink they are trying to take credit for.
