Hemingway's Social Club and Neighborhood Bar

They are closed now, but use to have good appetizers. It was owned by chiropractor doctor Bill Freeman. They had some fun activities that I heard about. They also had one of the old time juke boxes and a nice pool table and reading area

This establishment is no longer open, but when it was great place to hang out the best food and a great place to meet new people or to hang out with old friends

This place is the shiz!!!! Incredible staff and food options that are insanely EPIC! The Chipotle burger is amazing, but the burnt ends mac-n-cheese in COMPLETELY NEXT LEVEL #kulinarykhaos. Amazing food and drink all coming out of a small-town social club and neighborhood bar! This place is WELL WORTH the drive from wherever you are. The epitome of a "destination bar." My friends had their wedding and reception here. The "ballroom" appears to be a former cafeteria and reeks of stale cigarette smoke. I didn't have a drink, which is a good thing, because the bartender couldn't make anything other than a bourbon and coke without using Google(we had to spell Collins when one of the guest ordered a Tom Collins). The owner, who introduced herself as Miranda, is extremely rude unless you are one of her regular clients. It is obvious that she is lacking any sort of customer service experience beyond running the local watering hole. The only bathrooms we were made aware of, are in the bar itself which no one under 21 can go to. Just getting a bottle of water for another guest was a 30 minute ordeal.

Absolutley amazing atmosphere, totally unique for the small town it's in. Owners do their best to accommodate everyone and the variety of entertainment and fun they bring is more like you would find in a major city! Definitely check it out, you wont be disappointed!!! Food is amazing and bartenders and drinks are over the too!!! They even offer a DD for those in need. Top notch!!

this is the nicest bar and grill in the try county area the service is great the atmosphere is delightful and the menu is 2nd to none. if you don't be leave me you haven't visited. hope to see you there.
