We were traveling through OKC and along Route 66. We decided to visit this museum. My husband ran in to check it out. He was told that today was a free day but they just closed. Before he could leave, the volunteers said they were willing to stick around for a little while so we could walk through. The museum had many full size dioramas depicting life in American history. Each area was very interesting with unique artificats, many I have never seen before. This museum is not huge, but there is plenty to see and the opportunities for many conversations to be started. The volunteers were amazing! They answered our questions, chatted with us and very helpful. I recommend you stop in and say hello. You won't regret it!

A great little museum. They have a "little" something of "everything "! They have divided rooms up into nostalgia. I can remember many of the items in the museum from my youth. The volunteers were fantastic and so gracious in showing my group around. Such a cute little building with so many memories. You won't be disappointed.

This place is an absolute treasure trove. We spent three hours there this afternoon. Our visit included a film about and a visit to a wind farm. We also visited their rather eclectic museum. We stayed around for an hour after the museum closed talking to one of the museum volunteers who was an authority on all things Oklahoma. A great place for history buffs and kids of all ages.
