Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum

Lovely museum with cars kept pristine. Loads of information and beautiful exhibits. It is located right on Route 66. Plenty of parking

We have gone up and down parts of Route 66 and if you are passing through then stop. The amount of different cars they have is amazing. It took us only an hour to see everything they offered. So it's a quick stop if just passing through. Plus they have a scavenger Hunt for the little ones so they don't get bored. They do offer rides during a certain part of the month.

This place has everything. - A giant gas pump that you can see from the highway.- Maps and memorabilia. - Military stuff. (The museum is in an old armory).- Hood ornaments. - Free admission for kids. - Gift shop with soda. - Old license plates. - It has lots of great cars too.

What a gem! We visited for the first time to ride in their 1922 Packard, which was a blast all by itself. Beautifully preserved and displayed cars, and very friendly, welcoming staff. If you're into history, or cars, don't miss this place.
