Haystack Coffee

A great new building with great people inside. OU has *many* awesome places to study: everywhere from the Bizzell Memorial Library to the Student Union, to any of the newer or renovated colleges and Halls -- but Haystack / the BCM is just as good.Coffee comparable to Starbucks or nearby Stella Nova, with awesome Christian music playing inside the café. Step out from the café into the study area and devote some time to class work.Parking is validated on site for 7 hours with a purchase from the café. An awesome deal.

This place is so awesome! I wish it had been on campus when I went school at OU a decade ago. Inside the coffee shop is an inviting atmosphere and classy decor. Their menu has normal coffee shop regulars plus some of their own originals!I got the Vanilla and Caramel Affogato and it was so so delicious! It is a frappacino with a shot of espresso on top. No matter what size you get it comes with one espresso shot so I would suggest adding one if you want more of a caffeine kick. My friend who brought me loves their Chai (due to COVID I did not try hers but I trust her that it is amazing). They also sell their coffee and Chai mix there in the shop.The most amazing aspect of this shop is the book store and study area behind it. It has a beautiful and serene atmosphere that is ideal for studying or working. We were told that faculty gets a 20% discount on their beverages, which is pretty cool of them. If I were a student at OU or lived close I would definately be frequenting Haystack to study. Their prices are pretty low for their prime location spot which I respect. Their main purpose is serving students instead of making money. If you live in Norman you definately need to stop in.

Great coffee! I ordered a light roast pour over yesterday. The barista let me know that I could reorder if the coffee did not meet my liking (but of course it was delicious). I love the open atmosphere here, it was great for a coffee meeting. Also, a couple of coffee shops on campus closed during the summer. I am happy that Haystack remained open.

Great place for coffee, worship, and to study. The best coffee spot in Norman. A lavender white mocha is perfect but so is just a simple coffee. The staff brings it home with their great customer service.

This was stop 4 on our coffee crawl had som KLLR Guatemalan blend coffee, scone and a honeysuckle latte. Friendly and nice staff very good service.

Great coffee and friendly staff. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet, perfect for Bible studies and gathering with friends.

Great Coffee shop and everyone is friendly and willing to help. Great place to study especially for college students.

Best coffee I have had hands down. It can get a bit pricey with add ins but 10/10 would recommend!!! (The building is also beautiful and spacious)
