Loved this place. Gotta go back before I fully review. Not in a place you expect to have some of the best Korean food but then again I should have known. It has that mom and pop feel. Lunch specials are a good option if you're new to the scene.

A little gem in OKC! Although the restaurant name and grocery store name can be confusing, the mom and pop restaurant serves up authentic Korean food! Although it was 100F outside, with no AC in here, we ordered 2 servings of beef rib soup. The soup was excellent, rib was tender with a good amount of Napa cabbage! Their banchan was different from the last time we were here, still good.

Very small Hawaiian/korean bbg place in the back of a small Asian market. Seating is very limited. 30 maybe but tht would be pushing it. Was able to get a seat and took several minutes before I seen anyone. There were several other tables waiting on food. Finally got my drink and ordered. The mixed plate for me. It has chicken, pork and beef along with numerous hot and cold Korean sides. The spicy flavors were awesome. It took about 15 minutes to get my food as they work one table at a time. It's a very small kitchen as well. Several people came and left as they could not find a seat. It's too bad as they could really do some business if they had more room. Check them out but go early or after the lunch rush.

Finally found a Korean place that have my favorite hot tofu soup! I love how generous their sides. Small restaurant inside a Korean market, but it was clean and tidy. Nice owners, fast service.

This place is amazing and a hidden gem. Couple helpful tips - there is no exterior sign, it's inside the OK KO-Mart - it's very small, only 6 tables- it's very casual - The name is bit misleading, this is authentic Korean restaurant (bulgogi, short ribs, bibimbap, etc) The food is fantastic and service is good. I'd highly recommend. Bibimbap is great

I wish it wasn't so far away from my house but Hawaiian BBQ Korean restaurant is very delicious. There are pros and cons to it. The place is really small and located inside the Korean store called Ok Ko Mart. You have to walk through the store to the dining area. The area is small and it's very family oriented. The menu is small, simple, but everything I have tried so far has been delicious. My personal favorites are the soft tofu soup, stir fried squid, and mixed meats platter. The Kim chi here is really good! One of the best I've ever tried. So good I bought a jar from the store side to go. Unfortunately you can't purchase extra Kim chi at the restaurant even if you're ordering take out there. One of the cons is that you can't buy extra Kim chi with your to go meals and also they give very little banchan and sometimes no rice when you order to go. My advice is to ask for rice and check your bag before leaving. They have a small station where they sell japchae, and kimbap. It's inexpensive and very good. When you dine here, japchae is complimentary with your banchan dishes and it's amazing to have it all there in front of you with your entrees. If you dine for lunch it's a bit cheaper, ask for gochujang. Their gochujang is very good. The prices here are fair for what you get. However, to go options you get less food for the same price. Not sure why. If you have time I'd suggest dining in. It's a great and cute little place to eat and the family is super nice. Go try!

Hawaiian BBQ is a hidden dining area inside ok-ko mart in the very back. They have a couple of tables set up, and a menu with most of your typical korean dishes. I often come here with coworkers for their lunch specials!Food -- They have quite a few things on their menu but I have always gotten the combination meat mix platter.Combination/mix plate: Best bang for your buck. All the meats that come with the platter are tender, seasoned well, and super tasty. Love all the banchan/sides that come with it. It's very flavorful and filling!Service -- The older korean staff are very sweet. They're attentive with refilling waters and brought all of our food out at the same time. Summary -- Great place to stop by for lunch! You can also shop around for other goodies since it's a grocery store.

The place is located inside a little market. Despite the name, it offers authentic Korean food. Their menu is limited compared to other Korean restaurants, but you'll find some popular Korean dishes here. I was craving japchae, but it's not on the menu. Surprisingly it was with the side items. I had the Korean BBQ ribs, and it was probably the best I've had. So flavorful and tender. And their kimchi soup is again of the best I've had. Lots of cabbage and pork. It's spicy, but you can still taste the other flavors. Lastly, the owners gave us extra japchae and some halos. I loved the warmth and hospitality from here. The only downside is that they closed at 6:30 pm.

This is the best Korean food in the metro. It's a tiny restaurant in the back of the Asian grocery stork OK-KO Mart. It's worth the trip. The Pork Bul-gul-gi is in my top 3 dishes of any kind in any restaurant in the area. I can't get enough of it. Beef bul-gul-gi is solid and fine. Chicken is nothing to write home about. The kal-bi (short ribs) are also quite strong. Bi-bim-bap, which is basically the Korean taco salad, is great here. Be sure to stir in the hot pepper paste, as it ramps up the delicious factor significantly. They have a variety of other somewhat more exotic Korean dishes, most of which I've never tried because I'm so locked-in on the Pork. It's quite literally a mom-and-pop place, but the service is almost always quick and invariably friendly. The atmosphere is as casual as casual gets. Bathroom is a bit sketchy but, hey, it's a grocery store. All-in-all, this is a little hidden gem that you'll be better off to discover.
