Happy Camper Cafe

Very clean restaurant and friendly counter staff. The food was great. Small town vibe. Ordered the Havarti and the Cuban both delish. Must try the loaded potato salad.

We love Happy Camper! It's a must any time we are back in Purcell. They have daily specials that they post on their social media. We love the cute decor. Service is always quick and courteous. Just be aware, it's addictive!!!

We attempted to place a takeout order while on the road cruising south, which began amicable enough. My husband was being exceedingly friendly and patient on the phone, but the woman kept rudely interrupting him. I'm not going to read our menu she said. But he wasn't even asking for that. A quick rundown of some of their available sandwiches was all he wanted, nothing more...How long would that have taken, maybe ten seconds? Instead she kept trying to get us off the phone, then ending it abruptly. Said she was missing other customer calls, then dead air. Excuse me. What are we, chopped liver?One of their competitors down the road were HAPPY to accommodate us travelers. As would any decent people.

I dropped in for lunch, not really hungry but with time to kill. Got the special, chicken salad on a croissant and a side salad. The salad was simple but very fresh--crunchy lettuce, lots of diced tomatoes that were red, not pink, and a sprinkle of finely grated cheddar. The sandwich was very good, loaded with shredded chicken, finely diced celery, pecans, and not too much mayonnaise. The only suggestion I would make is to slice the red grapes. They make the salad delicious but when they are whole, they tend to fall out.The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the decor is pleasant and clean. If I'm hungry in Purcell at lunchtime on a weekday, I'll come here again.

If I could leave a 10-Star review I would. One of the best sandwiches I've eaten in my life (Carolina Pulled Pork). Loaded potato salad was wonderful. The Cilantro coleslaw was an inventive and creative take on a side item and was enjoyed. Great service and smiles. Will visit many times in the future (hopefully near).Oh and they have gluten free bread!

Be sure to give a 5 star review or the owner will take it down. I left a 2 star and now it is nowhere to be found. I bought an Italian sandwich that tasted weird. The cilantro coleslaw was ok, but they almost gave enough for 3 forkfulls. I took half of the sandwich home to my teenage granddaughters. They wouldn't eat. Neither would the wife. Over rated and over priced. Can't wait until they take down this review.

I found out about Happy Camper Cafe a couple months ago & every single item I've ordered has tasted delicious. I've had many of their daily specials & they have not disappointed either. They also have curbside service available- I have always ordered through their Facebook app and it has been ready when I get there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

So I stumbled across the adorable cafe while waiting for my friend to get back to her boutique across the street and I was thirsty. I was impressed with everything about this place, the food, friendliness and atmosphere. I like to try new things, and so I asked them to make me their favorite sandwich paired with their favorite soup. I received a delicious, chunky tomato basil soup and the Cuban sandwich, which was delightful. Plan to make this my go-to lunch spot on all future visits to Purcell.

very soggy french dip, 90% gristle/fat, the broth was just so bad like ginger and and water, do not recommend for $11.50 it was already sponge consistency before dipping in the ginger water. The turkapple was mid, I liked the thin apple slices and they have goldfish

Consistently delicious. Nice and helpful staff. You can always ask questions and someone knows the answer. Cook is even kind enough to share a recipe. Love the outdoorsy look of the interior. Just like happy camping, indoors.
