Hao Palace

Awful. The Diet Pepsi tasted moldy. 99.98% of the food I had I couldn't eat because it didn't taste good. I would Never co.e back here again . The staff is friendly and fast. Literally praying to God that I don't get sick.

Food does not taste bad but there are three reasons we will not be going back. 1- one of the cooks walked out of the kitchen without a shirt on. Just an apron. 2- I watched one of the workers stir the noodles with his BARE hands (no gloves) and then he wiped them off on his apron. 3- our server was cleaning the tables with gloves on. She then refilled our drinks with the SAME gloves on. Really hope I don't get sick tonight knowing how dirty that place is.

Very good Chinese buffet. If you go at the right time then you will be pleased...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First I hate to leave a bad review because I know sometimes people have mixup's and bad days.... But I reserved their back room they said yes it's available for the time I needed. I get there and they had given it to another family. I was upset as it was reserved for a birthday party but I'll live. We went ahead and ate anyway. Fast forward to the next morning and im so sick I can't leave my house!!! I will never ever return to this restaurant nor will my family!! I don't know if it's what I ate or the fact that I let them know I was not happy about the room but I was not rude to them. I am the only one out of a 15 person party who got ill. Either way this place made me extremely sick.

Decent Chinese food, large and comfortable and large buffet. Waitstaff and hostess are always pretty friendly. Could be a bit cleaner--kids fishing off the buffet without parental guidance. Kids of employee playing in the drink area. Just saw the review by Austin--hadn't seen the unclothed cook or hand stirring---that would cinch it for me, too! Hmmm.

We went here last night because my daughter wanted a Chinese buffet for her Birthday dinner. We did not try the Mongolian/raw bar to have them make us something fresh so I can't comment on that part. For starters the carpet in the dining area is filthy, like the surface is vacuumed but it is horribly stained and gross. I went to bathroom to wash up before getting my plate and the bathroom was in really bad shape. There was a weird smell like old decrepit building smell and the faucets were mounted on a metal, rusted, wet plate on the counter top. It was just bad. So finally I go to get my plate and the buffets look clean and well set up. I got about 4 plates over the course of the evening to sample a little bit of everything. The rice and noodles were good and fresh as well as the wontons. Everything else just had an old reheated taste to it. I got the bourbon chicken and the pieces were literally so hard I could almost mistake them for wood! They did bring out fresh bourbon chicken so I got more and it was very good! The strawberry cake and strawberry mousse and the cups of ice cream were good. Anything beyond the food that I mentioned would not be worth your trying to eat unless you have an iron gut! While we were eating the cook? Was standing about 2 feet from our table with one of our dirty plates and was arguing with our server and pointing to us and the plate in another language. It seemed like he didn't want her to put paper or trash on the plates as she cleaned them up but I don't know for sure just kinda weird to have that happening right in the middle of a restaurant.

China Palace is now called Hao Palace Super Buffet. We decided to give it a shot since it had a new owner or maybe we suspect just a new sign. Anyway only about half through our food my husband pulls a 2 inch loosely coiled wire out of his mouth, it looked like a giant metal shaving. We were appalled. When we brought it to the waitress's attention she disappeared with the piece of metal and came back with a sorry we will give you a 20% percent discount. I told her we did not want to eat any more food and she left again and came back with the check. Really, we barely at half our food, there's a metal shaving in our food, there could have been more that we ingested and you still want us to pay? I was very adamant about not paying and that we were not going back to that restaurant ever again so she angrily waved us out. My husband has serious concerns that he ate more shavings and I have a huge knot in my throat thinking about it and hoping that he's going to be ok. I wish we would have taken a photo of it but we were both in such shock, distain and state of worry that we didn't prior the waitress taking off with it. We will be reporting this to the Health Department.
