Hal's Homemade Beef Jerky

This is very good beef jerky. What I thought was cool, is they sell you the beef jerky and then let you select seasoning you want to add to it. You pour the seasoning in the bag the jerky comes in and shake, not you have flavored jerky. To be clear, the jerky is good as is, but nice that you can modify it and season to taste. The jerky isn't cheap, but I was happy to support a local business. There are a couple beef jerky places in the area, so I did a mini beef jerky tasting tour, like wine tasting, but in OK it was jerky. This was my favorite jerky of the ones I had that day.

Truly some of the best jerky you can buy! Hal and his wife are as nice and kind as you can find! The seasonings are good but natural is the best!! Great service and great jerky!

Missed having Hal's homemade beef jerky so I searched Ebay and Amazon for it. Found a 6 for the price of 5 1/2 lb bags on Amazon and almost clicked on it, but then decided to go straight to Hal'swebsite. I ordered the 6 for the price of 5 and saved money on shipping.When my package arrived in the mail, I opened a bag and shared it with the mailman and some of my neighbors who where hanging around outside. They all love this beef jerky!it's the best.

I tripped upon this place as a Jerseyan far, far from home....and I'm glad I did. Partially because it was raining when I did, so you know, tornadoes and such, and here was a structure that offered shelter. Somewhat bare bones inside, but I'm not complaining. You came for the beef jerky anyway, right? Well, that's what they have! Beefy tasting beef jerky, not that overly smoked tasting crap. I'm not much of a jerky person, or rather, wasn't. I thought beef jerky was supposed to taste like the Jack's stuff, which is meh...and too smokey for my taste. Hal's also offers a bunch of spices on the side to add. Some better than others, but hey, each to their own. Also, I'm guessing I met Hal when I walked in. Super nice guy! He said I looked like a movie star, which I guess isn't something to complain about.

I ordered from them years ago, it gets very addicting. you never had jerky if you never had Hals!!! I ordered some today and I ordered a dehydrator with hopes to try and recreate the flavor!!

Been all around the United States tasted all different kinds of beef jerky , I can tell you that this is the best I have ever tasted. My 2 granddaughters and I stopped in the store about 4 years ago and had our first taste and WOW it was Heaven to all of us. The smell, the texture, the taste is awesome. I have ate beef jerky deer jerky moose jerky turkey jerky... You get where I am going this is the real deal. My mother bought some once in Texas and our dog ate most of it we all cried because it was our big treat . But this stuff is so much better, and it is local.
