Gym One Fitness

This is a good gym. It's not a great gym though which is why I am giving it 4/5 stars. It is a nice place that has everything you need for working out. I was happy with my experience there.

Becoming disappointed in the up keep of the gym. Starting to think the new owners care more about working out than running a business.

This gym is the best !! It has everything you need , the staff / owners are Amazing! They offer day passes and stamp cards if you are just in town visiting and if you live here support small business and make this your home gym

Needed to find a gym during my 5 weeks in Stillwater. Needing a membership from mid month to mid month. Tried Gym1 and the girl at the front desk was very short and wanted me to pay for 2full months plus a key card or a punch card. She told me to look around if I wanted, but felt very much unwelcomed. I came back the next week and Aleshia was at the front desk and worked out a membership for me that would cover my stay. She even tried prorating it...to the very last day I would use it. I paid 3 days extra, but at this point I so was thrilled. She then showed me around the gym and made me fill at home. That day I took a class, the funnest cycling class that was so intense yet calming...Black Light Spin. I got to meet the instructor Tamra who is the sweetest trainer/teacher/instructor. She too took the time to tell me about ever class offered and what I probably would enjoy. I'm going to be missing Gym One, the great people and hospitality. Oh, and I had great gains in such a short time with all the classes and weight equipment.

$50 a month. It doesn't have enough recombinant bikes and no pool.It's a decent place to work out. It's never crowded. Staff is always rotating but that's a college town thing. I've never had a problem with staff or facility.

I wish I even had an experience inside but I haven't. I've been trying to get a membership for 5 days and nobody seems to care. I've called, left messages, texts and even waited at the desk for 30 minutes. The one time I spoke to someone, they told me to come in today between 4-7 and there will be someone there. I was there from around 5:15-5:45 and no one showed. I called and phones were not answered either. I got told by a gym member that no one was working. The gym looks nice but the staff issues is beyond astounding to me.

The gym is very nice but the staff are not. Very rude and snotty. One of the female trainers is very unhelpful and has a consistent sour attitude. They have some friendly front desk people but half are plain rude and don't say a word as you walk in or out. They need to train their trainers and front desk people to have common courtesy with the public. I've seen people wait to be helped for several minutes while the workers are just standing around talking. Also, in their spin class they play music incredibly loud. The class should be in a separate room if they are going to play music that loud. It is very disruptive. Not everyone wants to hear that music or the screaming instructor.

I've worked out there in the past. I found the staff friendly & helpful. The equipment was in very good condition. The personal trainers are excellent. The aerobic classes were especially good. The leader wasvery aware of the capabilities & condition of each member and made sure that all were challenged but not overly so. Great improvement/results for me.

I wish I could give this gym negative stars! Last night (6:45/7pm)my keys were taken from out of the locker room! I stayed all night waiting and hoping for someone to bring them back. I fell asleep waiting and was woken up by two female employees around 8 a.m. the following morning. Instead of being treated with kindness I was treated like a homeless bum and how dare I fall asleep on their couch! Like a high school clique they ran their mouth to several of the other people in the gym! The owner told the staff if I wasn't gone by 10:30 am to call the cops! Seriously!? My keys get stolen which leads to my wallet being taken from my car and I'm the one in the wrong. I don't live here and am traveling for work and that's how you treat your paying customers!? How sad.. how sad of human beings do you have to be to treat other human beings that way!!! I really enjoyed working out there too.. but that was the most ridiculous display of small town childish BS customer service I have ever seen! Terrible!! And from the damn owner!! Karma dude! I hope you never end up in a situation like mine surrounded by nothing but judgemental jerks!
