Guthrie Public Schools

So at enrollment today I find out my kids now have to walk to school, if you live 1.5 miles or closer, I live 1.7 miles I drive it to check, I called to transportation department & the lady said i live 1 mile from school, they are not measuring using driving or walking, they are using strait shot over roof tops she said, well we can't walk over roof tops, my daughter has already had a man expose himself to her while walking, and now she isn't allowed to walk anymore. It's to dangerous for children to be walking that far, it gets extremely cold & hot, pours rain, some parents do not have cars to drive their children to school, this is ridiculous, I am livid
