Submitted a service request through Whirlpool to get a 2-year-old microwave looked at. They were the company dispatched by Whirlpool. They never confirmed the service request nor did they call to discuss the issues we were having. We waited 3 days before calling them, the woman who answered the phone was very rude when saying "we don't work on countertop microwaves." Considering this was the company recommended by Whirlpool who had the model number & the serial number of the microwave, you would think they would handle the repair or at least have called us on the date the repair was scheduled to discuss why they could not do the repair. Not happy with having to call after the fact & then have someone be rude to me when all I did was ask her to review the service job and let me know a timeline on when I would have a repair done.

They claim to cover repair on your dryer yet they also claim they won't cover any external issues like the vent only the dryer itself. The techs they send out are rude and not educated enough on dryer repair despite it being their job. GuinCo has caused nothing but issues and I wish more than anything I could switch to a different company. Even Whirlpool is fed up with them and the complaints they constantly get from customers. I have never worked with such a slimy, skeezy, poorly ran company in my life. If you can pick any other company besides this one please please do.

Repairman Ron S. was on point and was insistent on finding the problem with my dryer. Company was great in communicating when repairman would be here and worked with me on the best date and time. I give 5 stars. Kem W

12:48 on a Friday, on hold for three and a half minutes before even speaking to someone (the recording said I was the first in line to be answered, and I didn't get put on hold by a human, otherwise the 3 mins would be irrelevant) and they finally told me the service charge to come up with an estimate would be $115! That's the most expensive I've found yet, just not worth it for them to come out for 20 mins. Apparently they don't care about taking care of their prospective customers very much. Eh.

My experience was extremely satisfying! I was fortunate to have Xavier as my repairman. He was exactly on-time, and introduced himself politely and professionally. Xavier diagnosed the problem with our washing machine, showed us a picture on his cell phone what was wrong, and said he needed to go get this unique part. He returned in about 20 minutes and provided the fix. While here, he recognized that our dryer was not balanced correctly so he went ahead and made that quick adjustment. Simple yes, but how many repair people would take the time to insure this kind of service??So if you want "above-and-beyond" repair service with Guinco, ask for Xavier!! They had to replace my freezer door and now my entire refrigerator does not work. They said I had to go back through Whirlpool to schedule them to come back out. In the meantime, all the food I have in my fridge is going to go bad because they broke my rerigerator. Horrible service.

Robert has been out to our house 2 or 3 times now. He is a great hand. They always have legitimate answers to your questions, can recommend a new purchase vs. repair on the spot, are very knowledgeable on almost any brand vs another and are always on time. Their workflow system automatically notifies the next person on their list when they leave / check out of the previous job so you always know when their service technicians are on their way.
