G's Garden Restaurant

I've been here a couple of times and I still have yet to eat the Chinese food. Pete makes a good bacon cheese burger and fries. Employees are friendly and are willing to customize within reason. Onion rings are amazing, although Pete doesn't particularly enjoy cooking them. Say hi to Pete and you will hear some great stories.

It's not great but it's ok considering what else is available in Elk City. The chicken fingers are nicely fried and came with lightly fried okra and choice of baked potato, mashed potato or fries and the salad bar. The chopped steak (hamburger) is huge and very lean. The interior is plain with wooden booths and tables. There is a Chinese food buffet.

This place is DELICIOUSNESS! For starters the egg rolls might be the best I've ever had! We ordered the Hun Shu Chicken (extra spicy), Garlic Chicken, and the off menu item pan fried noodles with steak, chicken and shrimp. Everything is made from scratch and it shows in every bite. One word.. amazing.. we passed our plates around the table and never stopped except to take a drink of water. Do yourself a favor and try this place, especially the off menu dish! Wash it all down with some of their great hot and sour soup then go home and take yourself a nap. Can't miss dining since 1978!

I originally got to eat at G's Garden back in probably 1995. I haven't lived in Elk City since 1996 so I don't get to eat here very often anymore. Tonight was the first time I've been back in about 5 years. The food was just as excellent tonight as it always is. I love stopping when I have to come through town!!

Friendly staff, good good, reasonable portions & prices. Only complaint is lack of parking & seating.

A staple in Elk City for over 40 years. Whether you want American, Mexican, or Chinese food this is the place to go. Open Tuesday through Saturday. Ask for Pete!

I ate at G's Garden in 1994 on a cross-country trip. The owner and his family were very inviting and the food hit the spot after a long day's drive. I still remember that the noodles were terrific. I thought of this place today after watching the documentary on General Tso's chicken. This restaurant stands as an example of the migration of Chinese American families throughout the United States and the wonderful hybrid Chinese-American style of food that they developed. If you find yourself in Elk City, definitely worth checking out.

Best Mexican food in Elk City. Also has really good onion rings. Always great service!
