A large and wonderful collection of crystals to choose from. Home decor, bracelets, small collectibles, medium-sized crystals, and very large pieces. Everything is reasonably priced and great quality. Staff is so friendly and will assist you if you are looking for something in particular. I got myself an onyx bowl and a few crystals. Review #119 (Good Earth Rocks Gallery)Location: 824 N Broadway Ave, OKC, OK 73102. On the corner of N Broadway and the east side of NW 8th Street. One of the OKC Streetcar stops/platforms is directly in front of the gallery. It's across the street from the bike shop.Parking: There are angled parking spaces on the north side of the Bldg on 8th Street. You can park in front or on the sides of the other Bldgs on N Broadway. There's a parking lot behind this Bldg on the east side, but I'm not sure if it's reserved for the workers and delivery trucks for the gallery and the businesses next door, or not. Hours: Mon: closed; Tues-Thurs: 11am-6pm; Fri-Sat: 11am-7pm; Sun: 1-5pmGallery: Good Earth Rocks (GER) Gallery has exactly that, a bunch of good rocks. They don't only have rocks per se, but also have various types of rocks; like crystals, gemstones, minerals, and fossils. Owner/Staff: I asked one of the women working, about the story behind the gallery and owner. The owner is Dave Clupper, a geologist who is usually gone digging up rocks and stones or sourcing them all over the world. He and his team hand pick stones from sites all over the world; usually sources natural state gemstones and minerals, raw and unaltered, with a few exceptions; and are ethically sourced. The other woman working was unpacking more rocks, crystals, fossils, etc.., so they had more inventory to display and sell later; so I'd love to go back and see what new items GER has.Inventory: GER has larger rocks and crystals made into home decor like lamps and small tables. They've also used stone to make bowls and other tableware. GER even has shark and dinosaur fossils. Beautiful petrified wood is made into furniture like tabletops. They have pretty jewelry made with the various rocks, gemstones, and crystals. Design: the gallery is in a red brick building with large glass windows all around. So it gets hot during the day with the sun shining in, and blinding you if you're looking at the display shelves towards the front entrance to the west, where the sun sets. If it's not the time of day with the sun shining in, then the rocks are easy to see, as the space is open and the lighting is bright due to all the ground to ceiling windows.Setup: When you walk in, you go to the middle of the gallery and they have round woven baskets for you to use as a shopping basket. You put your various small items: rocks, crystals, etc.., in the basket, you want to purchase.Smalls: GER has tables of "smalls" which are the smaller rocks, crystals, minerals, etc..., that are more affordable than the medium to larger rocks used as home decor. There is a large selection of smalls, mostly in the middle of the gallery. They are displayed in bowls, plates, and sectioned displays, with the prices and names of the stones. Jewelry: The jewelry selection and glass enclosed display shelves are to the south by the cash register. They have a "good earth" selection of stones and gemstones made into beautiful jewelry. Fossils: The fossils are mostly displayed in the back of the gallery. Others are along the walls and shelves up high, so the pesky people touchers can't touch the dinosaur and shark skeletons, and cause their decay from people germs.Website: GER also sells stones, decor, and jewelry on their website, if you don't want to or can't get into the gallery in person. They have brochures with all their information. Website: www.goodearthrocksgallery.com My experience: I had seen the gallery a week before while in the area running errands, but it was late and it was closed. Then when I was in the area for an appointment I had time to stop by afterwards. I looked at the plethora of items from the smalls (rocks, crystals, fossils) in the middle of the gallery, the medium to larger rocks and home decor along the outer displays close to the windows, the fossils to the back of the area, to the jewelry selection. I saw some beautiful amethyst rings and necklaces I liked; but I'm on a budget, so I'll have to work towards that goal. The two women working there were nice, helpful, and answered my questions. I did get four smalls (rocks/stones): one Amethyst Quartz Tumbled, one Amazonite Tumbled, one Jade Nephrite Tumbled, and one Blue Apatite Tumbled. They put them in a cute, silver, drawstring, mesh bag with silver and gold moons and stars on it. After that, I tumbled myself out of there, as I had lots of work to do. Ironically I went on 24 Aug 2022, so that is 8/24, and the Bldg address is 824 N Broadway. Yes I know, I'm weird about numbers and such.{Posted on Mon, 5 Sep 2022}

By far the best rock and mineral shop in okc. The owner is a geologist who is knowledgeable and super passionate about rocks and fossils. The store is filled with beautifully prepared natural rocks of all kinds. You will find what you are looking for and leave with more knowledge than when you came. I will be visiting every time I come to okc!

Definitely my most favorite rock and crystal shop. I came in when it first opened and have continued to love this place for any occasion. I go here with all my friends and family. Best thing about this place is that the prices are pretty reasonable and not crazy expensive. The owner and the cashiers are so nice and will tell you more about the rock/crystal/fossil happily. If you come here ask about the dark room that shows the glow in the dark rocks!
