Great public course. Course is always in terrific condition. Challenging but not ridiculously hard. GPS on the cart and great range.

My family and I live in Fairfax, right next to this course. We get 15+ golf balls in our yard each day. We've had to get locks on our gate, because golfers kept coming into our yard to retrieve their lost balls. Several of our windows have been broken, our trees have been damaged from balls knocking off countless branches, and my mom was even hit by a golf ball while sitting on our back porch. We have called the club several times, being told by the manager that our information was being passed along to the owners, but we have yet to hear from them. We can only assume the club expects golfers to be personally liable for damage, as the owners have offered us no compensation for the damages to our property, let alone given us a phone call. This golf club does not care for the families, many of which who have young children that play outside, that live near their course. Edmond Golf Club, please move the tee box near Coltrane.

Last time we played it took 6 hours on Sunday mid morning. So we tried again Friday after noon. Wasn't much better. Wait 5-10 minutes - Hit - Wait 5-10 minutes - Etc...... The whole round. 3.5 hours in and only 13 holes played. We left. The serious problem is our cart said we were only 5 minutes behind schedule. Which means to me they planned it that way. 7 minutes between tee times is not enough and waiting is not good for golf. We will not be back anytime soon. The course layout is fun, greens were good. Tee boxes are terrible. Even with plenty of time you never can find a flat spot to stand. I tried to email them and it got shot back to me. So I guess o hope they read it here. Complete disappointment and money.

Overpriced and poor quality range balls. 2 Dollars more for a large bucket than its competitor Kickingbird and far less quality. Range is in OK condition. However, course prices are typical. Expect many dead areas of 0 grass and patchy greens. This sucks because when the course was known as Fairfax, it seemed to be in much better condition.

Golf course fairways are in good shape with greens a little beat up from unprepared ball marks. The greens keeping staff leave some to be desired. Kid today watering the greens as we approached, never moved. By the time we were just off the green he was still water with the hose across half the green. We patiently waited for him to finish.A few holes later, we tee off and a young lady goes around our carts as we are pulling away and proceeds to park in the middle of the fairway in front of our 2nd shots. When asked to move she advised advised it was the gold course policy and for us to play through. Told her I would wait. She decided to move, parked to the side and then restarted her machine in my back swing. A little training is in order.

The staff play in public tournaments out here which is fine, but I legitimately caught them cheating (pretty significantly I might add) and the head pro told me "I'll make them take a bogey on the hole". I informed the staff playing that they broke the rules resulting in an unfair advantage against the rest of the field, and they told me it was not on purpose and was a misinterpretation of the rules. There was nothing to misinterpret, they cheated, got caught, and did not own up to it. This was unprofessional considering this is a public event we all (135 players) paid $80 to play in and they are employees of the course. The course is extremely overpriced for what it is and always over crowded. I suggest going to kickingbird when it opens up or even up to the Guthrie courses.

Not a bad course. Some of the tee boxes were in rough shape. I like having the interactive carts, but this one is slightly annoying. Several times we were on the cart path and the cart would slow down and tell us to get back on the path. My main complaint is that there is no water on the course. Not fun when it's a 95 degree day. They said it was because of Covid. There was no cart service and we had to order from our touch screen in the cart. No one ever came. We had to call the club house. He informed us that we had to use the cart system. We finally got some water after we explained to him that it wasn't working. The course wasn't bad, but the carts and customer service can be improved upon.

I actually enjoy playing golf here but they go up on the price every year while the conditions seem to worsen. With Kickingbird closed to renovations and Rose Creek now private they think the course is worth $70 when it's worth half.

I was debating on posting this but I decided if I could spare one golfer from this place it'll be worth it. This was absolutely the largest waste of money I could have envisioned for a round of golf. We arrived and paid for our dues like we always would ($80) which is pretty fair considering the other courses in the metro (or so I thought). Immidiately on number one we have the club house employees drive out to confront us about a cooler we had which is against course policy (again, whoops on our side and immidiately complied). We then proceed to go 10 holes without even a sight of a cart girl which is insane given that if you're going to prevent people from bringing on food and drink then you better do your best to insure they have those items. When we finally did get our drinks we had two cart girls somehow show up at the same time and then they proceeded to hang out together as one said "I'll stay here I don't have anything else to do I'm bored". I feel like she should have had plenty to do considering the joke of service we, and the other golfers we spoke with, recieved through the day. How did you have the time to converse with so many golfers you may ask? Let me tell ya. It took us almost 5 hours to play a round of golf and that is not an exaggeration. My buddy was a tour player and I myself play well and I can't remember a time a round has taken us that long even if we were walking. They jammed that course so tight that we had a minimum waiting time of 10 minutes on every hole. To top it off the course was pitiful in its appearance and number 18 isn't even a hole at all but more of a "what not to do" in course management. I can promise you I would rather travel to Guthrie than to ever step foot on this property again. Kickingbird cannot open quick enough and to be honest this place will be another Coffee Creek before too long. Employees here should spend less time hanging out in the bar area or worried about their cheesy commercials and put a little effort into the course and the patrons that visit it. Do not waste your time or money. If I could rate 0/10 I would.
