Golden Hour Bar & Lounge

Fantastic new addition to OKC! May 4th was a great day to come in and enjoy a few cocktails at this venue. I loved the decor, the staff were friendly, and the energy was very positive. Try the Gold fashioned or the Flor de Pina! We will definitely be returning soon to explore more of the menu!

Honestly, not worth your time. The bar was super dead and had a weird vibe. It was a very up-tight atmosphere and it was very loud. Not a good place to just grab drinks and have a fun time. There are so many better bars right around the corner!

This spot actuallygets NO STARS. My fiancé and I went to a going away gathering for a good friend and was denied entry because he was wearing "sneakers". However, while standing at the door, a group of white young men walked out of the same place with t-shirts, backward caps, sneakers, shorts, etc. I'm sure this place is great if you meet the stereotypical guidelines they secretly have. The establishment and bouncers should be ashamed.

A complete missing of the proverbial mark-- we quickly finished our drinks and left. A low bar was set in conception: come up with a chill, dim lounge environment with an upscale cocktail menu and a casual wine and local beer menu. Quiet and groovy 2014 EDM music. Immediately walking in it was too dark, lit with mostly blue-and-cool-tones LEDs and sterile feeling. One person in our small group was nearly turned away at the door for wearing a t-shirt (strict dress code violation) -- despite the fact that the bartenders (who didn't seem to know even their own cocktail list or where specific beers were kept) are all wearing grey v-neck T-shirt's: "oh, that's how they set themselves apart" --The Manager, Tiffany, was kind enough to come sit down with our group to ask our feedback. I was honest enough saying little touches like having tea candles at the tables would work magnitudes to help the ambiance. She was dismissive of candles as a fire hazard, which is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.TL;DR: Golden Hour is the Greystone of underwhelming lounges. Keep the neons, add some comfy-ish couches, lose the attitude, stop pretending this is Vegas. You're better off at Sanctuary (a literal sanctuary compared to this) immediately next door.

I attended a birthday party here and the space was wonderful! It had plenty of room for all the guests and the decor of the place was so cute! The bartenders were very friendly and the drinks were amazing!

Went here for the first time tonight. Such a cool spot in OKC everyone needs to check it out. The peach cocktail is amazing. Staff is awesome and the vibe is it. New favorite bar/lounge.

Fabulous new find! My friend and I went for the first time and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves. The ambiance was very chic, the drinks were delicious, and the staff was great. They were very lively, friendly and treated us so well. Easily a new favorite & will be back!

I was really excited for this bar to open. The minute we sat down our server said "to be clear we aren't a restaurant." Noted. It was SO dark I had to use my phone as a flashlight to read the menu. The cocktails were expensive and weak. My martini had ice in it- can't stand that. The music was loud and obnoxious. If you're looking for a bar that's really just waiting to turn into a nightclub- this is it. If you're looking for a mature cocktail lounge to meet friends before or after dinner and spend some good money on cocktails- this isn't it; walk across the street and you'll find two places that are just that.

First off, this bar is beautiful!! I came out the other night with a friend and tried a couple of their craft cocktails, peach don't kill my vibe and the summer 75 are both delish! They also have a good variety of beers. The bartenders are all friendly and helpful to directing you to a drink you may enjoy. The lighting is dim enough to make sitting in the booths with your friends feel more intimate. My favorite part of this bar is the camera wall and the neon "Stay Golden" by the door; very "instagramable"!

I went for the first time this weekend! The ambiance is amazing and creates the perfect environment for a mini photoshoot (camera wall, neon sign, lounge/couch area, etc). The staff was kind and we received wonderful customer service. The drinks were delicious, but my personal favorites were Yes Way Rosé and Peach, Don't Kill My Vibe - highly recommend both!
